I cannot suggest hard enough that people NOT wear running shoes for floor routines. Get a good pair of COURT shoes, like the kind Head make. They're MUCH safer for your ankles doing lateral movements. Running shoes are NOT good for lateral motion and AREN'T designed for it. They tend to have a sole edge that "catches" with side motion and that's how people get their ankles twisted.

Explosive push-ups for power and fist push-ups for conditioning. For power you train high intensity over short period of time. I personally do 5 reps explosive push-ups for 4 sets and if I can go over 5 then I add resistance bands or weight on my back to increase intensity. I’d make sure to take longer breaks in between the sets too so you don’t train endurance instead of power.
