That ball joint nut is a real pain, I never thought about backing the axle nut off to get a wrench on the dang thing>THANKS

Nice job. That control arm bushing went bad because the nut on the axle was loose allowing the wheel to move slightly in and out pushing back and forth on that bushing. Happy Motoring.

Id losen the 2 boldts on the upper transmission mount too and put a block on the jack under the trans pan to be on the safe side when raising it up.

This drives me nuts. I had to replace a wheel bearing on my caravan and I fought for weeks dealing with a seized axle shaft. This guy just tapped it and it went in. I beat the hell out of it with a 10 pound sledgehammer and it wouldn’t budge.
