I started removing any clutter from my side walls which allowed me to put more distance between both of my vehicles for getting in and out. Really helps! Especially when you have a small garage.

I agree about the Christmas lights. They should be neatly rolled around some heavy cardboard or on a big spool like my outdoor lights.

We converted our simple utility shelf by removing the second shelf creating an alcove that we peg boarded. Now we have open storage above, below and hanging storage inside the alcove on all three sides. It works well. You have a lot of wonderful creative ideas. The garage you made over looks amazing. Thanks for your inspiration.

What would help me most in my garage is the shelving unit and the storage bins. In my extra large Service Porch/Workshop room would be the Craftsman tool cabinet on wheels. In fact, I could use two. Great video. I loved the organization and the presentation.

I need the entire area where the tools are stored for my Christmas decorations-- I would have put more shelves where the sports gear are hanging --- and lastly, I wonder how long that neat garage will last-- getting family members to put everything back inthe proper place is the problem. Also, someone once recommended taking a sharpie and draw around each tool hanging so you know where it goes or the family member who grabs a tool knows where to put it back

I like the bike rack idea. I wonder how I could modify it for one bike for my sister. P.S. I just moved into my new apartment and can’t wait to try some ideas from the weekender and the wall series. 👏🏾😁 One of my goals is to find solutions that don’t require putting holes in the wall, or at the very least less holes in the wall. Reminds me of college dorm solutions. Lol

I like the bike rack. Looks easy to build. I'm thinking the over head space might work too. I have tons of cabinets right now. Great video. The tip I always read and work on is keep everything off the floor.

Great idea to use decals to map out item placement. Maybe decals can't be the exact icon of an item, but a general L X W X H taped out, can be helpful. Great idea, Lowes!

I put my tools on then pegboard, then marked their outlines with my sharpie. Easy to tell if anything is missing or out of place.

Garage is cleaner than most rooms in my house (which isn't hard). Love how the drill and other tools perfectly clean, mine have paint and other crap on them from using them. Yes I realise this is due to advertising but it does give the feel of "this is how you setup a garage if you never intend on using it"

I say, everything behind doors for a clean, minimal, cutter-free look. My pegboard is on the inside of a cabinet. Out of sight when not in use.

Loved bike rack build. I would love to see Lowe's post more DIY builds. It's pretty easy to go out & buy organization tools & equipment IF you have the $. Specifically I'd love to see garage overhead storage DIY video. Overall great video IF you have an extra $1000+ laying around. Lowe's could still make $ on supplies for us DIY'ers.

I am grateful that Loews is featuring these products they sell. However, I'm going to need to work with the items I have such as the big storage "cupboard" for tools and the variety of shelving units I already have. I also have a variety of bins to divide up tools and supplies and each one has room to put a label for its contents.

i really liked the idea how you put everything in order in the garage but except the bikes are in the way and takes over a little bit space. you can put the bikes upside down in the ceiling and have more space but overall you did good !!

Great video why not attach those chargers to the wall below the metal cupboard? that would keep things more clutter-free and keep the surface of the rolling storage cabinet open if you need to move it (as you said) for a project somewhere else in the garage.

I like my Gladiator cabinets and worktable but I had to hold back on the Gladiator wall track system. I found it too expensive to cover a substantial area for good use. I found the Rubbermaid wall track system (also sold at Lowe's) much more versatile to use and cut to size. Give it a try on your next project. Now, if I could only get my kids to consistently put the bike and the balls back in place all this would be worth it! :-)

I would place baskets for gardening tools higher as cars or trucks need to drive in and it prevents scratching vehicles.

I love the pegboard and the workbench that’s what I need in my garage except I’m working with uneven walls. I have a bump out on the bottom half of wall that is the foundation of the house. Do you have any advice for walls like that or should I frame it and add drywall to have an even level wall?
