I made a gallon of blue paint last for multiple accent walls in different rooms by portioning it out and adding yellow or white paint samples

Worst paint decision: Painting my tiny bedroom (basically a hallway with an alcove) dark red (reason: teenage goth with no foresight). Felt like even smaller and like I was in a uterus with the walls closing in and ate up all the light despite one "wall" being a glass door to the garden. Smh. Now every wall is the lightest gray (blue hue) possible....eeeeevry wall!

Hahaha! Thats awesome! That "in the uterus" feeling...... Despite confining, might have been a bit comforting, like in the womb? One random question/ guess strictly out of curiosity; You like cats, don't you? I mean.... really like cats? (Not saying there's anything wrong or right with cats or people who like them. My screen saver is of my cat "zit" (not saying there's anything wrong or right with me)) Just wondering.

@@edpscupcake815 Most of the time. Sometimes more than others & then other times less than Some. But for the most part. I'm normally pretty darned good. Another way I sometimes describe my state; "I can't complain, but sometimes I still do" Thanks for asking. How bout yourself? (I would guess being a Saint has its good & bad. A bit of yin with the yang?)

We've spent two years in demolition & re-building & now re-painting a big old house. We have an Orange storage/guest room, an Emerald office, 3 distinct shades of Green in the bedroom.

I think it's better to use common colors for everyday life. If you use those bright colors you're dreaming with, don't you think you'll seem to be like in a hairdresser's all day long? I prefer warm ones, or mixing them, painting it in black or whatsoever, but just a section. BR

it is very useful video for me. i am trying to make our small art gallery in the mall. but i didn't decide wall color. We want to choose blueblack color for wall, dark brown for ground and dark charcoal for ceiling. We will focus on painting on the wall with a lot of line lights. I can't find same concept design from google. Your video gave me some idea. Thanks for sharing.

Mimi Soni if you do a lighter color and a different colored ceiling will make it look bigger- also you should do fresher colors (light blues, mint,turquoise)

4:06 Instead of putting color directly on your trailer park faux wood paneling, how about stick a piece of Mylar to the wall and paint it. You won't have paint on your walls at all.

@@beansmeup no because when i painted my roim white, that didnt make it feel roomier. Getting rid of unnecessary furniture using a minimalist aesthetic made it roomier. Because there was literally more space. Color doesn't help in the same way that natural oils do. And even that shit like doterra is bullshit. Just because yok paint the room purple doesn't mean it helps with meditation. Thats called placebo. Which still has its limitations. Focus and will also correlate to anyone's being capable or improving themselves.
