Synopsis: One night. A brutal break up. A drinking spree, and a one night stand with a mysterious man. 5 months later and pregnant, Lisa Waweru, a broke stylist, discovers this mysterious man to be Dele Coker, a successful Nigerian CEO based in Nairobi and expanding in East Africa. She and her best friend Joyce, must come up with the perfect plan to have him pay his dues. This must change their lives forever!

It’s Jan 21, 2023. I just found this movie and it’s one of the absolute best movies I have watched in my entire life ❤❤❤❤Everything is on point. It’s like an exquisite meal at a very expensive restaurant, but alas it finished quickly and the chef went home. How I wished it could be longer.🎉😊

Maybe you should focus on that instead of coming for the Nigerians for allegedly not being able to speak a language well that you can’t even speak or type well yourself 😘 And FYI, there’s a Pidgin version of French 🙄 Most Francophone African countries don’t speak better French than their colonizers. And there’s nothing wrong with that because we speak other languages too 🤷🏾♀️ “I dey go” isn’t bad English, it’s part of an officially recognized language in Nigeria called Pidgin English. It means “I’m going/leaving”. Google it 🙄

Kanda 019 it’s only embarrassing to people like you who clearly have an inferiority complex. There’s nothing wrong with not being able to speak your colonizer’s language. It’s not dumb or stupid. Mastering English is not a sign of intelligence. We have a myriad other languages. And most Nigerians do not consider English their first language. People can be literate in other languages, it doesn’t mean they’re dumb. Africans have their own languages, so regardless of who your colonizer was, you are not their language. You are not French no matter how good your French is, and we’re not English no matter how good our English is 🙄 So relax

Short, but very intense. Giving a whole new look into the vastness of this complex but very beautiful continent. There's always this touche' to Daniel's play boy character that gives life to his plays, and it comes with the different shades of his display that makes you want to watch him again and again. He brings life to his character and even of those around him. He reminds me of the days of the "African pace setters" , bringing back the characters alive again. Where East and West meets for a common ground would be a story for another day. Very thrilling, and I was glued to it. 🌹❤️.

LOVE, a four letter word that signifies trust,patience,vulnability and so on. Honestly this is the best short film I,ve watched so far.Joyce is such a character ,"kwani nimenyamaba chlorine", this line got me laughing for hours. I guess I should start saving up for a radio😉.Lowlaa Dee, no words can compliment this beautiful and catching film.

🤣🤣🤣the Uganda lady at the end jst made my day & wow this lisa& Daniel movie is so different & lovly im already a big fun of Daniel watching him daily in different movies jst cane from watching the best men b4 this one& loved this one too I have a friend from kenya living wt us in Germany & thus brought lots of her culture& type out loved it such sweet people, & so luv how they speak, & that friend was so so good & such an Actor to play the lawyers role so well

The movie, acting, cinematography, suspense, lighting, sound and even the b-roll in the film are completely on point. I really enjoyed this movie and I am deeply thankful. I was just saying how much I wish there were more positive examples of Black love in cinema.
