I am still learning but here goes - To three wheel from a static positon you raise the front, then one rear. If you only have one pump on the rear - you have to lift the front, then the rear, then dump one rear corner. Depending on weight distribution, it may not even collapse that rear corner unless you turn and drive. If you have two separate rear pumps you have more control over the sequence you can use.
