Experiencing Car Culture with Skid Society Car Vlogs; revisiting the automotive art form native to California; Lowriding. This 2021 Lowrider Cruise took place between Anaheim and Fullerton, in Orange County California, with Classic Cars cruising after sunset in the summer time.
In today's video, we've got more Classic Car Culture Content; from the Classic Car Show and Lowrider Cruise in Orange County, California for lowrider cars including the 64 Impala Lowrider, 57 Chevy Bel Air Lowrider, Cadillac Lowriders, G Body, Classic Cars, Lowrider Mini Trucks with dancing truck beds and other clean Custom Car Builds from various car clubs in the Lowriding Scene on the West Coast of the USA. The classic cars with wire wheels, hydraulic suspension, custom paint jobs and period-correct trim were out on display and there were impressive custom lowrider paint jobs and artwork, and of course, old school Chevrolet Impalas with Hydraulics. There were all kinds of clean Classic Cars cruising and lowriders bouncing, showing off their hydraulics at this 2021 Lowrider Cruise. This Orange County Lowrider Cruise was an action packed car meet and classic car cruise, showcasing classic cars with hydraulics, lowriders hopping, cruising and hitting switches, 3 wheel motion, bumping oldies and having a good time, showing out for the spectators that came to enjoy the Lowrider Car Culture and retro vibes! Cop Cars from the Fullerton Police Department showed up and swarmed the lowrider cruise, with police officers getting out of their vehicles and undercover police responding to the Classic Car Show. This Lowrider Cruise was a Car Meet and Lowrider Car Show, with pristine examples of Classics such as the 64 Impala Lowrider, Chevy Bel Air, Classic Cadillacs, Lincoln Continental, very early model classic cars with loud exhausts, Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham, Mazda and Toyota Mini Truck Lowrider, Lincoln Town Car Lowrider, Chevrolet Monte Carlo, different types of G Body including the Oldsmobile Cutlass and Buick Regal, Chevrolet Caprice, Mercury Grand Marquis, Chevrolet Special Deluxe, a few Classic Lowrider Mini Trucks as well as a range of other vehicles from the 1930s all the way up to the 2000s and beyond!

These lowrider people are different. Most of these people actually work and put little bits of time and money in the cars over a long time.

come on back to Michigan.. Towns shut down main streets just for the Cruises.. Ever heard of Woodward Cruise? Worlds largest cruise. It goes on for a week straight.. any-given night of the week in the summer there is a Cruise/car-show... Motor city has it going on...

Try the 70s, that when cruising started being shut down.. I now understand why.. we took up 3 miles bumper to bumper including side streets, parking lots not to mention street parking. Emergency vehicles couldn't get through.. different times.. normally sheriff's didn't bother us.. only when we went into uptown Whittier which was hot rod and high performance cars cruising.. you youngsters are lucky in a way.. you don't get pull over as we did.. highway patrol would tow, cite and bring out measuring tape. If you do what most low rider clubs do and develop a repor with local PD to lessen friction. Ive yet to see anyone driving and Pancake frame scrapping..

The Impala 64 chevy car was the greatest biggest impact adventures entertainment moving cruising down the street from my 64 lowriders was the legitimate and fun. I love the West coast Los Angeles CA lowriders all time.

This happens on Van Nuys Blvd every Saturday. Street becomes unusable. The cops won't go anywhere near it. They might as well officially close the street and put signs up warning people to take a detour.

These cars are cool. Don't have any where I live here in N Idaho. I've loved seeing these but I've always built mine to look factory with a twist, faster than factory but definitely not 10 seconds. Been running a 67 Chevelle for 37 years with heavy big block springs under a small block with front discs. Old school 80's build when you didn't go online or order it custom built. Still get thumbs up just because rodders appreciate anything maintained and different from mainstream. Keep putting these out.👍

Love low lows had one back in the day 78 grand prix juiced up with 8 switches two show time pumps 6 batteries. Best times of my life would get up early on Saturday morning wash n wax my ride charge up the batteries and hit the boulevard all night long.

Instead of being hard asses, maybe the local police should build their own lowrider for these events. Where I live, we have an annual car cruise. To enter it, I think, the cars cannot be newer than a 1965 model. See a lot of 1930-1940's hot rods conversions during the event. It is great fun to watch the cars, then get a chance to look at them up close after the drive by. The cops used to have a 1940's Ford that they used to patrol the event in the past. All jacked up in the rear and all. Used to have a 1962 Malibu that was slightly jacked up in the year. Enjoyed seeing the old cars in this presentation. Hope to see other videos in the future. I would venture to say that, that is a main contributing factor in the discord between the cops and the citizens. I rather enjoy having a neighborhood cop who will stop and pass the time of day with the neighbors, or sit and have a glass of ice tea or cup of coffee with the folks in the neighborhood they live in and patrol. I guess that is just the difference between living in a metropolitan area, like in LA or in NYC and the semi rural area where I live. Things are so much more laid back here. We have mostly good encounters with the LEO's here. Here is how my last contact with our Sheriff's Deputy went My nephew and I had gone out to do a little scorpion hunting, when I go out into the bush I generally carry a sidearm. We had pulled off the road and were flipping big chunks of bark and rolling logs over in search of scorpions. We had been at it for about an hour and had stopped for a bit of a breather. As we sat there with some ice teas, a deputy stopped and we chatted for a bit. We talked about hunting scorpions and not finding any. He suggested a couple of possible places where we might find some. The conversation turned to our sidearms and what models and calibers we preferred. I drew mine, cleared it and let the deputy take a look at it. After visiting for about a half hour, he went back to his patrol and we went back to hunting scorpions. He did not pump us for any personal information, other than if we were having any luck. He did not ask for any ID or anything else That is how a typical encounter goes where I live, I am not saying that all encounters in all areas of the state where I live go like that, in general that is the way they go in the semi-rural areas, like where I live. There is nothing wrong with the "man" being one of "us." They are our neighbors, their kids go to school with our kids, they shop where we shop, out of uniform there is very little difference between them and us. Only attitudes like the one you appear to have, put barriers between them and us.

@@ShellyAnn1a That's your take. Good for you. Others have a much different perspective. You don't know a thing about me so there's no point in mentioning big cities to me. I live in an affluent area and know a few cops but the rest aren't all that cordial. I was on the phone with a 911 operator and was being assaulted as I spoke with them. They did nothing. I still hold a grudge. Good bye.

If you have to ask that question, you need to look up the traffic laws. Educate yourself instead of insinuating blame. First of all there is a safety issue invovling the alterations if the vehicles themselves and if the cops were really doing their jobs, all those vehicles would be ticketed and impounded. So really, they are getting away with breaking the law. Some of them shown don't have headlights and taillights functioning. They are also impeding normal traffic because if their antics bouncing the cars. You think all of this shit is normal?
