I love this! This video and comments...I feel like I’m home! 😂 everyone is complaining that low rise are back but I’m so happy! You’re so right, I can’t find them in regular stores but seriously try Goodwill or other thrifts. Basically where I’ve had to find them for at least a decade. Look I’m 44 and this high waisted crap..ugh! I was over it in high school (90’s) They will always be “mom jeans” to me. I look so weird in them...I mean I’m a Mom but I don’t have to wear Mom jeans! 😂

I love low waisted jeans, and mid rise. I do like High Rise or High Waisted at times, but it depends on the vibe and whole look. I like your selection, low waisted for the win! I subbed.

I started having flashbacks while watching this of the cool low rise flares that I used to have as a kid. Especially that pair with all the cargo type pockets down the legs. I had a pair like that, they were Guess brand and they were iconic. I got them secondhand, they were originally $70 and I was SO STOKED to have found them thrifting cuz I’d seen them in the store n begged my mom to get them for me.

I am chubby but it’s kinda funny how I like low rise things cuz I feel like the low waist hides my love handles I can just suck in 💀💀💀 like I have those love handles that make me look like I have hip dips, so when I wear something that pushes them in, it fixes my body in my opinion so id just say get them but measure your hips and get ones that fit perfectly and it rlly works 😌😌

High rise pants are so 80's and not in a good way, ugh. Low rise jeans + crop top + flat belly = killer combo. And additionally if you have hourglass figure, it's a no-brainer. Simply gorgeous. All pants fit you so well, but IMO Levis looks the best. I personally love to wear Wranglers and Pepe Jeans.

I just got low waist pants and they def do not suit me (high waisted 2000 jeans), I also feel like Versace is now doing high waisted jeans but 2000 style (also I also remember every price even from things I didn't get and regret) I do have to say low waisted really suits youuuu your style isn't my style, but I think it looks so so cool!

I would recommend mid-ride jeans then. They are still low but sit about 1-2 inches below the navel/belly button. I have a pair, and I don’t flash anyone even if I bend down :)

You're not "flashing" with low rise unless it get super low for the purpose of showing off a tramp stamp. Regular low rise are extremely fostering on several body shapes. I look terrible in mid and high rise. I love low rise. Also mid & especially high rise give you bad stomach acid which can cause erosion of the esophagus. Just a heads up.

High waisted is such an ugly trend to come back. It accentuates your gunt if you don't have the figure to pull it off. Cant wait for this trendy fad to die. Low waisted has its problems too but the high waisted look is just a no for me.

Do you recommend going a size up for True Religion jeans? I’m usually a 27 in the waist, and 37 in the hips, 5’6 in height, and have a little bit of a bum. I’m afraid they won’t go up all the way but I’ve had my eye on some cute pairs. Any input on the sizing would be appreciated 😊 Great video, makes me wanna get back out and start thrifting again 💕

They do run small so it’s best to size up. For me personally it varies , normally I’m a size 4 or 26/27 in jeans and I have a bit of a butt as well. In true religion jeans I typically best fit in a size 28 or 29 , but I’ve also had bigger sizes and smaller sizes fit me . I’d recommend going with a size 29 but definitely check the measurements if they are available 💕💕

Exactly true, low waist are better plus shorter inseam. Especially for short ladies like me. 2000's were ALL about low waisted jeans. Fun times. Only prob for me is always long for my short legs🙄Just curious how tall are you?

i thrifted 3 pairs despite being skinny i still have a stomach its flat but they are too low and idk what to wear with them since i am not allowed crop tops 😭
