This video is a tutorial on replacing the carriage belt on HP Designjet T770 and T1200 series printers.
As always, BEWARE OF CHEAP BELTS. They do not use anti-oxidizing chemicals or high-density polyurethane/DuPont Kevlar core like ours do. Cheap belts will deteriorate just like the original HP belts.

On left cover there is a hiden screw behind . You must unscrew the rear plastic bar and find the hiden screw of left cover.

Have a T930, somewhat similar, enough to see what to do with changing left side pulley which has failed on mine, seems to be a common issue on this unit after long conversation with HP Tech.

Hello, Very interesting video. I was given a T770 plotter, which worked perfectly, and following a move and an 8-month shutdown, the start-up sequence blocked at 58% and led III, next to the network socket, flashed. From what I read from the documentation it is possible that the electronic module is broken. Can you help me with troubleshooting or point out specific items to test. I have some knowledge in electronics. Thank you

Hi Bob, sorry, my hp designjet 800 plotter won't turn on, it just turns on the power button, it stays green and then the green light starts blinking, but the plotter does absolutely nothing. what will happen?. Greetings Bob!

Your web page links to this as a t2300 belt replacement. Is this machine comparable?

They are very similar to the T770/T1200 printer. You shouldn't have any trouble replacing the belt on a T2300 if you follow this video.

Hi , since I've changed the Belt , I've got a 21:11 défault ? Do you know what's the problem ? Thanks

A 21:11 error is coming from the service station, probably the priming motor or priming motor sensor. The sensor is mounted on the extreme right end of the service station and is held in place by its leads. If it got bumped during the belt replacement it will cause the error. Check that it is square with the little encoder wheel that goes through it. If not, bend it into place.

At 21:11 error is a service station error. Try running diagnostics on the plotter and run the SS test.
