The reason why you do this is because Fortnite is a very cpu heavy game and it tends to have an affinity to load all of the processing power to the first core, which is CPU0. Doing this makes it so that it spreads to all of the cores that you have on your pc. 👍🏾

These will include Nvidia graphic quality setting changes you can make to your brightness, contrast, and digital vibrancy, tips on which color blind modes to choose from the available colorblind options (deteuranope, protanope, and tritanope) and other tips and tricks for more frames on both console and PC. On top of that, I talked about the secret changes Epic made to the graphic quality options in Season 7 as well as what rendering mode is the best between performance mode (high and low meshes), DirectX 11 (DX11) and DirectX 12 (DX12). I tried to include as many tricks to boost your FPS as I could for both console (PS4 and Xbox One) and PC, mobile and switch, but I obviously could not fit everything into one video (some systems don't have them either like performance mode on PC). @@jouisimo5701 I have a 4080 GPU a core i9 13900k and 128 Gn ram with a z790 ddr5 motherboard. my PC build was 4000$ not including my 1k moniter and my setup. I don’t get anywhere near 1k fps. Btw my moniter is 240hz and 4K resolution. I get 700-750 fps on 1080p and 300-350 on 4k Edit: actually I could probably get 1k I just noticed on max settings with 1080p I get 700-750 Maby if I lowered all of them. But even than I’m not trying to play on potatoe graphics

@Arvel YT I have a 4090, i913900k, 32gb 6000mhz ddr5 ram and play on a 360hz monitor. And you don't get even 200fps on max graphics. Unless you mean, no nanite, no ray tracing and with dlss on performance 💀💀💀💀💀 my pc is tuned professionally and I get more than people who benchmark max settings. It only takes one search to know you're cappin hard af.

In computing and programming . 0=1. Notice that there’s a total of 5 Cores but a total of 6 “cores”. He essentially turns off one of the cores. So it’s probably lowering whatever that core is assigned to do

Ok so this is what you guys can do if you have a low end NVIDIA gpu(example GT 1030):first switch to per mode and low settings to atleast get like 40 50 60 fps. Step 2:You can go into the Nvidia control panel and go in manage 3D settings. Put the power management mode on preffer maximum performance and texture filtering quality on performance. What this 2nd setting does is not load as many textures while landing and while ingame. The only time you can see it is while landing and rarely anywhere else. I got over 60fps in bus, and 60-120fps on ground.

I’m pretty sure that because you are taking off of the cpu the detail of the game will be much less but at the upside of fps. With the type of system you may have, do not be surprised if there rendering issues.

Yes and no. The CPU only really tells the graphics card where to render walls and stuff. So it's a common misconception that decreasing the CPUs power decreases the detail in game.

Idk if this is the same as core parking which is disabling cores to have higher speeds to the remaining active cores cause if you disable 1 core from a 4 core then the cpu speed will be less spread out and your 3 active cores will have high clocks than before and may increase fps in games that prioritize single core boost clocks but idk about Fortnite and this method.

Same I play on an hp laptop eleitebook I would suggest putting down ur 3d resolution it helps a ton. I have mine at 56 but it does make your game a bit more blocky. Hope this helps

This didn’t seem to change much for me, my issue is FPS drops 😭 from 240 to 60 and then back to 240 in 1 second so annoying.
