So guitar A was my Martin HDC-28 Anthem and B was a Klos 3/4 Carbon guitar with a bolt on neck and the Anthem. I felt the Klos held up very well considering but the plot has thickened a little. I just checked the saddle and it is not flat in the middle. This is will certainly affect the string balance and overall sound. My hope is that if I make this perfectly flat then the Klos will sound even better which could be quite amazing. I will report back…

My vote is A. You can hear all strings clearly with tonal quality. B is to tinny and trebly, not a clear distinct sound as much from all strings.

Much preferred the mid hump on A to the scoop on B.

I've owned two KLOS guitars (nylon string) and I think they sound stellar, man.

@@aaronshortmusic - man, I got an LR Baggs Anthem SL-C installed in a Manuel Rodriguez Model FF flamenco guitar. It sounds very reasonable! Check it out - kzfaq.info/get/bejne/qZyhldiZvdGrkp8.html

Hi Aaron - I enjoy your channel. Guitar A has a warm, pleasant, lower-mid heavy sound, with the highs somewhat recessed. I like that in certain contexts - maybe playing and singing by myself. In general, I slightly prefer it. However, guitar B has a scooped sound, and the highs have much more presence and clarity. In a band context that might includes 1-2 electric guitars, a bass, and drums, guitar B is going to have a better chance at cutting through and adding that acoustic guitar shimmer. So which is better? It depends.

Guitar A is the one I liked , Guitar B had some king of low end thump going on. Guitar B had some more high end , Guitar A had more balance.

I like B best. A sounds more processed and balanced. B sounds more live acoustic

I think I like guitar B better, it's more open sounding, less low mids but there is some upper nasal-ness to it that I would EQ out. Guitar A has more low mids to me

Guitar A: maple back and sides? Sounds like a J200

A for me. Sounds like B is a smaller body guitar too.

Hmm. A more muffled, base, but nice and rounded sound. B harsh, trebblish. Sharp, crisp. A different feel.

In a band with bass guitar, A; alone as a solo performer, B.

Prefer A But.... It also depends on which song or style I'm playing .

Its B for me, more brightness,

A because it has warmth and roundness, and top end can be added to taste. B is too trebly and brittle.

Just listened again. I still prefer B but miss the deep sounds of your own Martin Guitars!

For the same reason I can't own a Taylor I like A. B is scooped so there's too much clang on the high strings with no covering that sound up with the mids. I hate that rattle sound on acoustics.

The pickup install on B was not optimal. I have to redo the test.

B because it sounds just slightly more natural to me. That said, it’s too trebly for me.

They are just different. Not like some of them beter then the other. Just different. Depents from the mix where to place them.

Guitar “A” sounds harsh. Guitar b has more detail. I prefer B. I’m gonna bet guitar an is the unanimous winner in this contest. I will add that I prefer hearing amplified sound through the kind of speaker system it will be used with in public. Direct recordings never sound as good to my ears. Yeah, I realize this is more scientific and all things are equal. Fair enough.

Guitar A sounds more crisp, clear and cleaner than B. I can hear the strike and sound of each sting individually. Guitar B sounds muddier and muffled compared to A.
