What annoys me is that no matter how good I tighten the seat, in some cases it still doesn't take very long for it to come loose again. And I have two toilets with the same soft close lid but one of them has stopped working properly so the soft close isn't soft anymore. Any ideas is it possible to fix the soft close mechanism or do I need a new seat?
