This game is also incredibly similar to Skip-Bo, with a few rule changes. My wife loves that game, so to see them essentially dunk on it the whole time is amazing!

Skip-Bo is the absolute worst. I'd rather dive off a building that ever think of that stupid game again.

Skip-Bo solo is horrid because it encourages stalling and stockpiling. The Flinch rule helps with that. My family played it in teams, and it worked well there because if you turtle you'll lose to the team that takes risks to set their teammate up.

This was absolutely a blast to watch. It's really just the same thing as drink more glurp. No one knows what they're doing, people get frustrated, and sometimes there's a crazy turn that gets everyone excited. The unpredictability as to what will happen next really kept me engaged.

I recommend watching the 86th episode of LoadingReadyLive to hear Graham go into detail about it, but it's not life-threatening and his chemotherapy is going well

as i'm saying this, i feel like it would be pretty fun to watch lrr play dutch blitz (which for those who don't know, is basically non-turn based competitive klondike solitaire)

I can here to comment my family plays a card game we call Peanuts which is basically a speed non-turn based version of this, which sounds an awful lot like Dutch blitz!

If for some reason you bring this back, I suggest setting up the victory piles ahead of time so you know for sure there isn't a huge clog like with the 3's.

According to wiki it's about 121 years old. Their version was from 1963… so it's first half of life treated it better that the last 60ish years.

I'm so glad y'all get to sit around and joke about people who have cancer. Meanwhile, those of us who've lost people get to ask ourselves "Jeez, when dad died, why didn't I just laugh at all the humor?"

Everyone gets to cope in their own way and while the way Graham and the crew are processing his cancer may not be the way you would, they are comedians so it's not surprising. You might need to take a break from them while they handle this in their own way and that's okay.
