I put a 5.3 LM7 in my 68 C10. If you are doing a swap like me the factory oil pan doesn’t need replacing.

If swapping the pan into a car where you are unsure of the fit/clearance - Why not just always choose the lowest profile option by default?

Check out our complete install kit 6872LS1-FRK. These pans all are designed for muscle cars and the differences are all described in the video. You will still have an issue with steering unless you raise the engine up a bit. Our kits take out all the guesswork and are a much better deal than buying all the parts separately once you realize you need them.
