LS Swapping our S10 to build a burnout truck! We ordered a set of Car Shop inc motor mounts to LS Swap our S-10 project truck along with a Motion Raceworks LS Swap Transmission Crossmember as well as a few other part like a GM LS swap muscle car pan to help install our 4.8L LS into the first gen S-10! When installing oil pan i found a bolt in the original oil pan witch isn't very good! We worked on pulling the stock ECU and harness to get ready for a new standalone efi system. The LS Swap looks to be pretty easy in this truck but will definetly have a few road blocks like the headers and power steering setup which we might just convert to manual steering as we might not need it in the skid pad! We can't wait to send this thing in a burnout pit! Stay tuned for more videos!

I think the power steering pulley on the 2.8 engine that was in the truck is smaller.. you can swap it onto the ls truck pump.. And fold that seam up, will make life easier for transmission bolts

I know I’m late but I did retain the power steering pump. I know the struggles. I kept the factory oil pan but my k member was already cut out Bc we had a sbc 350 in the truck before and there’s still a heater box on it just not the a/c box. And I just used the $180 shorty headers from speed engineering. But I don’t like them due to struggling to get plug wires on and steering column figment issues. But congrats on the win at burnout rivals.
@chevy4life203

And yes I also had the firewall beat up a little for the trans. I’ve heard that factory 4.3 trucks had more clearance on the firewall than a 4cyl like mine was.
