Removing valve cover from ls1 camaro ss z28. Part 1. Replacing valve cover gasket but instructional video can also be applied when cleaning, ls1 cam swap, changing coil pack, or tune up.

Thank you for the tremendous service in filming this entire job, pointing out all the different bolts and screws. Yours is the first I've found that explains everything and not just giving out side notes. It's nice to know that the valve covers (or at least the passenger side)can be taken off without having to remove the intake manifold or water pump. Would you happen to know if the passenger side cylinder head can be taken off without taking off the intake and water pump too?

Crimsonnaire hey man thank you for the feedback. More videos to come soon. Unfortunately you have to remove the intake to remove the heads. There are bolts under the intake that hold the heads. Fairly easy to remove the intake and water pump. Ill see if i can make a video for you. Thanks

this needs to be a sticky on ls1tech. i have looked for a video showing this for way to long. Thank you for filming this man. made what seems like a 2 or 3 hour job into maybe an hour if it goes fairly smooth

i don’t know who needs to hear it, but i just did springs and pushrods without taking apart the fuel lines, module, cruise control, or basically anything on top of the valve covers. it is difficult but very doable

I’m trying to add my k/n valve cover filter I got with my package I put the new air filter and all that on but I can’t find that spot to put on my filter you have video for that

WWEG Soldier3 yes, can you please email me a picture of the filter and your set up. I have an idea of what you are talking about but i want to be 100% sure
