I had all my teeth pulled as I was in an accident in 1994....but while my dentures were being made I had a spinal cord injury........so to learn how to walk again, get coordination to even be able to feed myself took 1.5 yrs .....by then my gums receded and now I cant wear dentures at all. But I have learned to gum it pretty good...only things I cant eat are salads as its lettuce...and corn on the cob....other than that I'm ok. I'm 66 yrs old now, so it doesnt really matter at my age now.
