Full disclosure I am a UConn fan but I like listening to Coach Mulkey. She toys with the media and does not take the bait when they try to and she leaves politics off the table. What I do not understand is why are people still taking shots at the LSU schedule. Last year LSU played 1 team (Oregon St) which I view as a worthy opponent leading into SEC play. Results were a Natty. This year they have played 3 teams and are 2-1. Mulkey plays a schedule that gets her team ready in her way, nothing wrong with that. I do wish she would tone down the outfits however.

She has said that if someone comes to see what she is wearing, and leaves loving the game, she has made someone into a fan. She might be the most clever person coaching any sport these days.

@Paulsomora Nice comments! It's because, a lot of people are just crazy about LSU (due to the championship last year; SEC internecine jealousy, and/or or Mulkey hate)? So, they will say anything-no matter how inane-to keep up their silly arguments/take shots at LSU women's basketball! As a UCONN fan, you may know something about that during their heyday for those who hated Geno; UCONN in general, or his team winning so much? PS: I have no problem with her outfits. It's a spectacle or topic of conversation.

It’s fair to take shots at any team not playing real competition in such a sport. WCB isn’t there yet and still needs to gain more viewership and you can’t do that without high profile games. Any teams that aren’t scheduling for big games actively aren’t contributing to the big picture.

@@Bishop56100 How many "Big Games" are you supposed to play, when you play in the Toughest Conference, and will enter the NCAA tournament, barring something unforeseeable? Sounds like a smokescreen, Strawman. FWIW: LSU's team last year, gained record viewership for their finals vs Iowa. It appears, people are far more (if not equally) interested in what LSU's team does off the court/their personalities as much as what they do ON The Court. So, the games/who they play shouldn't really matter by that measure.

What I don’t understand is is how LSU is ranked ahead of the only ranked team Colorado they played who ran them out of the gym and has also played a tougher schedule.

@GeneralRock114 Do you really think Colorado played a "tougher" schedule than LSU? Secondly: Do you think if those two teams played today, that Colorado would win? Thirdly: You do realize, LSU was the preseason #1. 4) One team has two losses, the other has one. 5) Do you really not understand how rankings work, etc..? Shall I continue?/SMH

@@msl5253 Pre-season doesn’t mean crap. Other than Colorado, who has LSU played. Just look at the schedule and to see who has played a tougher schedule.

So, they didn't beat a final 4 team last year/Top 10 this year in Virginia Tech by 18 pts when they played them about a month ago? Erm......So, that didn't happen!? I brought up being Preseason #1. Cause, how far did you expect them to fall with only one loss (and their "big" win over VTech)? Now, if LSU keeps winning in the SEC. Do, you think/expect/want Colorado's ranking to be higher than LSU's?...Do tell. Yes. Utah (who LSU beat last year in the NCAA's BTW) was a "big" win for Colorado, though it's a 1.5 woman team!

I agree with Coach Mulkey. The game looked very sloppy or at least those are my words. Hot mess, wasn’t controlled at all. Compared to other dominant teams, like USC or UCLA, for example, LSU really needs work. I was like, “what the heck am I watching.” Unless they get it together, they’re going to have problems down the stretch! GO LSU!❤
