Here is our "Way To Early" 2024 Clemson Tigers football predictions video for every college football game of the 2024 season.
We're going to go game by game and break each matchup down. Along the way we will predict the final outcome of each matchup, and predict Alabamas final record on the season.
The SEC as a whole has gone through massive changes this year. The BIG 10 has added Washington, USC, UCLA and Oregon Ducks. We have the Texas Longhorns and Oklahoma Sooners coming into the SEC conference. The road to the SEC championship is now more difficult. We have also had Nick Saban, the GOAT himself retire. We welcome in Kalen Deboer as the new Head Coach of the Crimson Tide. Kirby Smart though is still in charge in the SEC conference. The college football playoffs have also expanded to 12 teams now starting this year. Brent Venables looks to compete with other SEC coaches. Dan Lanning is re tooling. LSU Tigers and Brian Kelly look to replace Heisman winner Jayden Daniel’s. Napiers try's to get the Gators back to a bowl game. FSU looks to get back to playoff contention. The Texas A&M Aggies look to rebound under Mike Elko and the departure of Jimbo Fisher.
Let's take a close look at each of these games being of season to end.

10-2 and At large playoff bid. Offense will always be elite under kelly and i think the defense will be solid. Top 40ish. They only have to make stops sometimes.......

I like it. Live by the shootout, as long as it wins games it works. There is no doubt the talent is there to make it happen. If they get that defense top 40 I agree on that outcome.

LSUs schedule sets up perfectly. Three toughest games (ole miss, bama and ou) on the schedule are all in Death Valley. Last time joey freshwater and the gumps were they both left BR with the "L". ou will have their tiger stadium cherry busted thanksgiving weekend. LSU will not go 0-3 in those games. Get at least one possibly two. CBK has his team in a better spot currently than the other 9 head coaches he will face. 10-2 GEAUX TIGERS!!!!! lassiez lais bon temps rouler!!!!!

I like that breakdown, great points also. I like BK, he will have them ready. With that roster there is great potential. They missed on some portal guys which worries me but I have to admit you’re spot on

@@3rd-And-Long CBK didn't get either of the 2 top DTs he wanted in the portal. What he did get were 2 older more experienced players. Both are in at least their 5th year of college ball. LSU will enter the season with 10 scholarship DTs. Solid numbers being coached by one of the BEST position coaches in college ball. Last year LSUs terrible defense wasn't about the jimmies and joes. It was the Xs and Os. Prime example tigers had 3 DTs drafted. DC Blake Baker will take care of Xs and Os part.

@@user-xp6qd4sk1j very true. Great point. They did add some great coaches on the defense, at line and coordinators. Baker will be a welcome addition. He’ll get things right. They were ranked really low last year nationally, if he can get the defense to be ranked just up to 50-60 this year, and 30-40 next year. That would take so much pressure off the offense. The future is bright

You have LSU losing to every good team they play, and losing 3 home games? 🤯 I'll only go back 15 years to prove my point. LSU has never lost more than 2 home games in a single season. FIFTEEN YEARS. Even with a 5-5 season and 6-7 season, it has never happened. As a matter of fact, 42% of our home losses in that span have come from Nick Saban. I don't buy the Deboer hype, and i know from my research that Bama is going to have an extremely inexperienced secondary back there. With no Saban (DB is his specialty), i do not expect them to be ready for LSU's passing game. I can not believe that nobody is even thinking their defense takes multiple steps back. As for Oklahoma, choosing them on the road in Tiger Stadium at the end of the season, BEFORE the season, is an extremely bold move. Oklahoma will be lucky to win 9 games next year. As a LSU fan with knowledge of the program, i have us going 10-2. We shake off the first game curse we've had the past 5 years and get a win there. We beat Deboer year one. We beat Oklahoma to end the season. I think Ole Miss finishes 11-1 and beats us again. It sucks, but they are loaded. I shouldn't trust Lane Kiffin, but who knows. I got TAMU beating us at their house. I think they are better than most believe. I don't see LSU losing any game by more than a TD though.

I like that, you raise excellent points. Let me ask you… how improved will LSU’s defense be? Because that showing last year was the worse I’ve seen in my lifetime for an LSU team. Their offense won’t be as good as last year, no fault to Nussmier, he’s just not Daniels. So If the offense goes from 45 a game to 39 or 40, that defense will need to be much improved to make the difference. Especially on the D line. But LSU has a new staff there, so we’ll just have to see. But I like the points you raise, you might be spot on there

Yeah, I'm thinking 9-3. I'd feel better about things if it wasn't for the lack of defense.

@@Brett_Tspunited 8-4. 9-3 is the more realistic outcome, however, if the coaching staff can get players in the right spots to make plays, with an aggressive pass rush, & force some turnovers, who knows, 10-2 could happen. I’m hoping for the best, with my fingers crossed. I don’t know why they wouldn’t schedule Nicholls first, to iron out any kinks & get the mistakes corrected. Playing a tough first game of the season doesn’t do a young, & inexperienced defense much of any good.
