It’s a toss up. If Les could’ve evolved the offense and went 21st century with it, I would’ve liked to keep him. The problem is he didn’t and we lost winnable games because of it. Ed is also dealing with losing 18 starters and 2 of his best coaches so there was always gonna be growing pains this year. Did I expect it to be this bad? No. But I sure as hell didn’t expect anything better than 7-3.

Ole Piss ahaha!!!! That was funny to me and I agree with you. As an Auburn fan I'm cautious and don't believe we're really as good as we looked today. I wish it were true but, people who believe this is the new norm have a rude awakening coming. You don't go from the way we've played and turn into an elite looking team in a week. I will say I think Tank Bigsby's play has helped our team all around. He's not only helping from a rushing standpoint. The fact he's turning in to our feature back draws the attention of our opponents which obviously opens up the playbook to get the ball to the rest of the playmakers. The talent isn't the problem for Auburn. We have plenty of talent. I've been saying for a long time Gus Malzahn is a mediocre coach and people get pissed. Its incredible. I thought that was a fairly obvious observation considering how much he's accomplished in the time he's been at Auburn. Apparently there's a pretty large percentage of our fanbase that disagrees with me but, if we wanna contend for national championships we gotta do something. Its as if we're in this mindset that as long as we win the games we should win most of the time and beat Alabama every other year that it's enough.

LSU fans had us thinking the same, that they were "reloaded" and ready to "repeat" in the offseason - with the amount of talking they were doing. Yet here they are, already 3 losses into the season and now people that hyped them up big after winning the national title are suddenly quiet af... smh. Hate to say it, but LSU is 1-and-done.
