46:50 rewarded for tight play and playing around the mana tithe. Best part of lsv is how he effortlessly knows every possible play of the opponent - and plays around it without hesitating!

I'm torn on initiative in that I do like some of the play patterns, but this type of deck gets stomped pretty hard by initiative unless the draw lines up really well, so it's nice to see it get some shine with it out.

This might be crazy but I wonder if amulet of vigor could be a fun include with all the new tap lands. It's fetchable by urza saga, with bounce lands and fastbound/exploration/titan could make big mana, cheap artifact at worse, idk tho may be too narrow

I've watched you play vintage for a very long time and have noticed that you used to play storm WAYYYY more than you do now. Is that a conscious choice, or is it merely because the cubes you play these days don't support it?

It’s because on a 4v4 instead of a random lobby, players are (beside being incredible drafters themselves, so they usually don’t miss stuff) aware of what and to whom they’re passing stuff to and will deny opponents key cards for “I win” style combos such as Breach Storm. LSV knows that, unless he first picks one piece of a combo, leaving his opponents in the dark, if they see passing around a piece of Storm combo they’ll definitely snipe the subsequent ones. So the issue is not that the combo is weaker, it actually is that it is incredibly strong and a good opponent won’t let you have it and lose to it.

in team draft hate drafting is way better than normal so it's hard to get a good combo deck. in regular draft, chances are you won't even play the person affected by your hate draft, but in team draft your team gets to play versus the person missing a key card due to the hate draft every round.
