I've been using my GNS foe well over a year now and it has become one of my top knives. Love the handle and the length of the blade. It just works for me. Nice review.

I got both. Scandi for camp craft and the saber for hunting and all around work.

Nice video, looks like a great knife. I'm in agreement regarding primitive fire too. Though I prefer the bow drill.

I have that knife and it is amazing! I have a scout carry sheath which is really handy 'cause I don't like things bouncing around on my hip.

You are one of the very few on KZfaq who knows how to strike a fire steel. Most folk move the knife and have no idea where the sparks will fall.

Say Heah, I have that sheath for my Bushcrafter, Luv it. But I like my knives alittle larger, Thats why I modified my Attitude at Battle Horse, Even they broke up, The quality remains on both. I also had a Mad Hatter match my Attitude and I also had a Dual Grind put on it. I'm hoping I could also use it as a large knife and not a machete. One good test on a ferro rod is when it showers sparks, and the sparks bounce off the floor, It's a good one.

Say Heah, I don't know why the GSN was the Genesis, But I like the shape of the GENERAL alot better, I definitely will order the GSN. but I need to talk to L. T. for some minor personal touches that will make it my knife. I think the GENERAL is perfect for what I have in mind., Thanx for sharing the GSN.,,.

how do u go from hand drill to lighters? at least rock a steel and flint kit. oh well...still love the video. as a chick I must say ure voice is very soothing. with the rain storm behind ya and u talking it was very calming. just saying.

+highonimmi Thank you. For me, I like to connect myself to the earth so a hand-drill fire does exactly that. With that said when I am traveling in the middle of nowhere I want a lighter that guarantees flame. - Jeff
