Dynasty Warriors 6 (真・三國無双㼕 Shin Sangoku Musōu 5) is a hack and slash video game that takes place in ancient China, in the years known as the Three Kingdoms, roughly 200 AD. Released by Koei and developed by Omega Force, this game is the sixth official entry in the Dynasty Warriors series. Nov. 11, 2007 was the game's Japanese release date; North America and Europe received their releases on February 19, and March 7, 2008, respectively. In Japan, a 40GB PlayStation 3 boxed edition of the game was included. Also available for Windows in July 2008 was Dynasty Warriors 6. November 2008 saw the release of the PlayStation 2 version in North America, and October 2008 in Japan. Dynasty Warriors 6: Empires was the name of the new expansion.
