But even that pic of him and Shen Do he doesn’t look happy at all - she does though she looks thrilled. He’s jus like eh whatever - but whenever he was around Xiaoju his whole face was lit up - he was so happy. I just think they had a lot of misunderstandings-when he saw her with Cheng Lang he got the wrong idea and didn’t realize he was already in her heart. Instead he should have talked it over with her.. like he always did in the past. He was just too insecure bc he was so into her. It was only when she kissed him at the end (even though he had come back for her) he still wanted confirmation that indeed he was the one she wanted. Then he made his move. I do think situations similar do end up like the book version ending (timing being off) but there are situations like this drama ending and I think irl Shuyi would have been upfront about her when he saw them he wouldn’t spy - but then there’d be no drama so there’s that 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️. I just wish we had seen them get together a lot sooner and more lovey dovey moments of them as a couple!!

Wait, does it have a book version? Is it named the same way? Do the final misunderstandigs such as why didn't Shiyi replied to the messages or never contacted her explained in that book?

She should of realized sooner that Dowdy truly loved her and no one else. Can't blame him for going abroad and trying to figure out what happened 🥺

Жалко конечно, так нельзя было уехать не сказав ничего, даже не попрощался. Они были ведь друзья и ещё соседи. Дорама очень понравился, с огромным удовольствием смотрю. Актёрам огромное спасибо за великолепную игру. Жалко скоро дорама заканчивается, мы зрители очень их полюбили и будем по них скучать. Может когда нибудь ещё вместе будут ещё сниматься в других проектах.

Shi yi told her he never had a girlfriend, no one, he always had been only for her. So you can assume that shen dou lied :)

@@niminiyi but he never explained why he never replied back her email. I just wish we got more episode for this explanation & have their more lovey dovey scene. They indeed missed lots of time because of bickering 😁🤧
