Wow! This "Prince of Tennis" drama series is the "best drama which I've watched in terms of sports, friendship, youthful innocence, high school crushes, and other relationships in everyday's life. This drama can relate to each one of us, in another way. - My love and interest in this drama series make me subscribe to Netflix so, I can watch its 40 episodes! - Peng Yu Chang as Lu Xia and Ireine Song as Qi Ying brought justice to their roles, with deeper passions and emotions. - Its storyline is about friendship + sport's teamwork and their journey in completing their dreams and aspirations in their lives. - The main and secondary casts each face a variety of obstacles that they work together to overcome and triumph on it. - This is a beautiful drama on the love and passion for tennis games and how the casts struggled to be trained and to focus on each sporting competition. That there is always a lesson to learn here: "Nothing is Impossible for those who Persists!" - I highly recommend this "Prince of Tennis" to be watch and re-watch, especially for those with a deeper love for tennis games - And hopefully - we look forward to its Season 2 and to continue watching the development of the same casts who were fitted to act for their roles with a perfect re-creation of correct emotions. - Enjoy this highly addictive drama series of "Prince of Tennis"

Yes, you're right! Ireine Song is a very likeable person. She won the Best Actress Award for her role as Sang Sang in the Ever Night drama series. And she is voted as the 2020 Most Promising Actress of China.

There are 2 chinese adaptaions of PoT. 2008 ver and this 2019 ver. Imo, this version captures the aesthetics and character profile of the anime/manga version. Ryoma x Sakuno moments are welcome. Subtle but not too much romance Plus the fact that the sempais and even the coach and the old man is also rooting for them from the side line so it adds to the fun. Many are hating sakuno's character in manga and anime, and it's natural. Having that opportunity to talk, bond and relate to these handsome young men almost everyday is gold!

2:16 In Episode 24 of the anime called Ryoma's Day Off, when Sakuno Ryozaki(Qi Ying in the chinese live ver.) asks Ryoma Echizen(Lu Xia in the chinese live ver.) some things trying to ask what he likes and doesn't, he says, "You sure are talking a lot today. Why is that?" This, of course, really hurts her feelings and she runs off crying to which Momo appears to tells Ryoma to go after her and apologize, which he does in his kind and quiet way. Ryoma has no idea that Sakuno likes him so much, and the same is paralleled here in the live action Chinese live action ver. Ryoma(Lu Xia) is a tennis Savant , so naturally he has no interest in Romance, or even cares or notices if any girl(s) think he is cool or if any girl falls for him. He is so goal driven that social things don't matter to him. If he seems or sounds harsh inadvertently, he is often misinterpreted as being smug or arrogant, but he has the skill to back up most of what he says.
