I'm madly in love with these two. We play nearly all the same repertoire. It is such a special to perform quatre mains and two piano with a sibling. In my youth I performed a great deal with my sisters. Love performing the Poulenc Double Piano concerto and mostly French 4 hand works. But seriously the Jussen brothers are my favorite piano duo team. Exquisite style and interpretation. Hard to choose which one to propose marriage to LOL. Seriously this Gentleman prefers Blondes. They are simply adorable, charming and their playing is exquisite.

How can this be?? They are perfect.

Just love you both. You are such good fun, and so entertaining. And I love the closeness of you two, it really is so heartwarming. We are so fortunate that you both speak English so well. I consider you the greatest duo Pianists of all time. Best wishes from Australia.

How wonderful to see these completely charming, loving, and talented brothers who are also artists of the first class! Just see how they play their thoughts off of one another, and how one in heart and soul they are. It must be the most wonderful thing in the world to live in the same house with them, to feel their warmth and charm and their joy of living. Once Arthur was asked the question: How does it feel to be playing with a brother? He answered: (In Dutch) "it's really more like having a best friend." That just bowls me over - as does their brilliant playing. Keep playing for us, Lucas and Arthur, in spite of Covid 19! We NEED you.

What a life they must live! They should have their own show, a reality tv format where we follow their daily lives and concerts. English or German is fine. Their personalities would totally support this!

The Jussen brothers are stunning physically and musically. If they wanted to to play six mains , my dream is to be squeezed between these two. I love playing all the same works they play too. Poulenc Double Piano Concerto, and all the quartre mains works of Debussy, Ravel, Faure, Poulenc and Milhaud.

I agreed with most of your answers and I loved Arthur's response on home cooking - YES! 100% true - amazingly mature responses for ones so young - especially the cooking part - I learned that at a much later age.

This was fun to watch! First time I've heard them speak English. They sound like native English-speakers. No accent. Maybe the way they both pronounce "cook," but I had to play the video twice to catch that. There was a point around 4:00 where neither of them could think of the English word for something. Of course, that happens to everyone, but apparently they knew the Dutch word. I wasn't surprised that they agreed on most of the choices, nor surprised that Lucas chose dancing and Arthur chose singing. I think most people would choose to be deaf rather than blind, but not if music is your life. I'd be interested to hear them talk about learning to play a piece and how they decide who plays which part. Bedankt voor de video!

It explains their success as great pianist, being great personalities both. (NB: the setting is nice , and I’m curious if they bought/selected the art painting in the back? Knowing that they both love art, I wouldn’t be surprised it belongs to their collection?!)

You have to be specific about question number 2. Bach only got completely blind by the very end of his life, Beethoven had to suffer through decades of declining hearing until he lost it more or less completely about 4 years before he died. So I take going blind from cataract at old age. ;
