Jasmine tbh its already a blessing SM put him in WayV (I think WayV is more versatile in the roles they give have for the boys i mean friggin Winwin as main vocal sign me UPPP). But since SM actually likes him (Bless up) I think they might try some vocal stuff out with him.

Some of my favorite voices in KPOP are Chanyeol, Kai, Kyungsoo, Lucas, Jaehyun). It's because of their deep and raspy voice

I was of the people who thought that he won't be able to sing. I'm just happy that he's in wayv coz he sings more in there and winwin also. SM are so obsessed with tenors. But I think rn they kinda changed. But I'm happy that we get to see singers with lower registers shine. Like Jaehyun, Lucas Jisung. I hope Winwin can be more confident with his voice and that he will improve.

The industry is obsessed with tenors. This probably came from the popular perception of higher notes = better vocal. I’m happy that now baritone are getting more attention and more appreciated. However, there are still many people using the high note battles as solid arguments for vocal ability, which is an criterion, yes, but not the only one. And these high note battles need to be analysed in such ways that show the vocals’s true ability.

Knowing sm, he definitely can sing...look at shindong...korean just prefer softer n higher voice...to me i prefer manly voice like kangin, jaehyun, baekhyun n lucas....taeyong's voice is amazing too...rappers in sm can definitely sing...hope they'll be given more singing part...or just sing in their vlive, ig or something...

He can surely sing the first time I've heard his rap. It's just that his voice wont fit with ballad since its huskier and sexier. I guess a lot of us assume that he's not that stable with singing because he barely speak a specific language(?) lol I mean he's not fluent even with Mandarin lol
