Lucas is positioning this as a spray wax not as a detailer or waterless car wash, which probably means they don’t have surfactants to lift and encapsulate dirt. Also first wipe you can try misting your microfiber which lubricates it, and first wipe can also be unidirectional and light to lift up any dust, before you move on to the buff-in-the product step. Honestly though, I’ve gone straight to spray and buff many times - car finishes are tougher than you think and these products are lubricating the surface. It’s a dry cotton rag on dried-on gritty road film that worries me. Thanks for the video RLC. Lucas doesn’t get a lot of airtime. What’s your preferred base coat?
