Again as I say always, as being in countless tornadoes, if you're in the car, just hurry up and don't slow unless forced/needed. (P.S. the land around the rotation wouldn't have lots of cost in damages. Also the traffic was most likely people attempting to get home in time which is highly dangerous) (P.P.S. When it was stated about watch vs warning, watch is over a widespread area to warn about conditions while warnings are usually 1-5 counties at a time warning for a tornado on the ground or rotation.)

Lucas, I have to say the same thing, I am still obsessed with weather today, and even when I was a kid, although I fear if a tornado with a rating scale of wind, I'm worried it will destroy our house, I just don't want it to be like other tornadoes like Joplin, 2011 super outbreak etc.

I know how it feels to be in a tornado 🌪. My daycare has gotten destroyed from the tornado 🌪.It doesn’t feel good! My dad told me the main rule for a tornado 🌪 is to STAY CALM!!! I’m really glad you guys are safe!

Me and my family survived hurricane Laura. We were in our house, and a 100 foot or more pine tree fell on the room we were in. There were multiple tornadoes, and the entire neighborhood was covered with trees.

It's not really that bad, unless it's a ef2-ef5, around that range, obviously you should take every tornado seriously radar indicated or confirmed

I speaking from experience, I’ve been though a tornado twice. Hide in a basement or low level area. If your in a car get out and lay down low till the tornado passes. And do not touch downed power lines!

It so grateful that all of you are safe. Seeing the tornado land, brought back memories of seriously tornado landed in Springfield Illinois and surrounding communities. There was a lot of damage throughout Illinois.

Pictures of the tornado I was like so scared that was the first time they do first time they had a tornado in my city like my mom was telling me to go in the hallway but the tornado was like all away like almost wear my dancing is it hit my dancing I was crying the weather tornado was said like that gives more they had two tornadoes

Imagine a 11-year-old going on a road trip to a friends house/your moms friends house and your house. The house that you were lived it you lived in but it’s for me because like my house got hit gets like my room I had to remake it we had to like do everything to fix your room and fix it fix it so compared to yours, even though I was not home, I was like shaking. I lost my appetite after stress eating I was so scared see what happens then when I got the photos I was so sad.

I’ve been in your situation with a tornado the things you need are the following things: .pillows and blankets . Lanterns for lights and batteries charged . Snacks This should last for a few minutes not days. Be safe

I’ve been through three tornadoes in my whole entire entire entire life so far and one time it was terrible because I literally was in a car jaw and we literally had to go into the tornado so we could go to our house. It was crazy.
