Being Irish, I've spent a lot of time in the rain. It rains an awful lot here. As we speak, it is dark, 9:50PM here in Ireland and this is currently the weather situation here. I'm standing in my shed, as the roof is galvanised and the sound of the rain is beautiful on it. Yet, I'm still here listening to this too! Us bloody Irish, we just can't get enough of the rain! The only difference between winter and summer in Ireland is that the rain gets warmer. Excuse me now lads, as I stand out in this storm Francis for a few minutes and enjoy the rain on my face. This kind of rain we get in East Africa since I was a kid, it'd rain and very big thunderstorms and sharp lightning, we'd all over sleep in the morning, and get late for school, it's kind of therapeutic .

I want to hear real rain falling on a lake or a pond where the microphone is under a heavy bridge (as opposed to an umbrella). That’s as close as you can to what it sounds like to walk in the rain without an umbrella - which is really nice. I went jogging during Tropical Storm Elsa and it was just so nice and refreshing but I don’t have the equipment to record it.

Je suis de Bretagne et ici la pluie est plus fréquente qu'ailleurs en France. Je ne saurais le dire mais la pluie comme le vent qui souffle parfois fort sur les côtes Bretonne me laissent sans voix et j'aimes ces moments-là, ils sont magique.

Me encanta este sonido. Porque me recuerda mu niñez en Venezuela, ahora tengo más de 27 años en España y no es ni la mía lluvia. Ni el sonido ahora en invierno pongo un plástico en la terraza...para que me haga el sonido del zinc. Y me relaja este sonido es muchas más fuerte y con truenos ..que pasada me quedo dormida con el Mobil simulando un aguacero Que jamás he visto caer aquí ya que vivo en el norte y nieva muchísimo....un saludo 👋

Iam coming back to this video for so many months now, every single night. It has such a clean sound and the thunder isn’t too loud compared to the rain. I also enjoy the video itself. It reminds me of when I was a kid because I always used to sit on the window sill when it was raining and watched the reflection of the street lamps in the water. Thanks for this video and so many good nights😴

I have Alzheimer's and insomnia. This rain sounds is music to my ears. Between this and my sleeping pill, I am guaranteed to fall asleep. These days I worry more about not waking up.
