I've got the original and have used it for a couple of tire changes for my vehicle. It's expensive but the quality is absolutely amazing and it works great. Buy once and cry once is the slogan for this tool. A lifetime tool you can be proud to own.

I see a lot of people complaining about the price but if they had to go buy all the equipment that you have to make the product, they would understand it. Your tools are not free. not to mention you have labor involved. I like your product I think it’s very professional looking and it is a made for a lifetime accomplishment.

Thank you! It’s refreshing to see someone that actually understands. Even without the labor involved, the cost for me to build the “top of the line” version is more out of pocket than most people would like to see it retail for. That’s why I developed the LITE version that retails at less than half that price. Even the LITE is a bargain and the feedback has been great so far. I strive for perfection with each kit and I think the end product really shows that.

Is there a difference between the red and black duckheads that come with the lite and deluxe versions? Like is one better for low profile tires etc?

Beautiful product. I was all set on buying the cheaper usa version on ebay (guy in texas) but I may hold out and spend the extra for yours. Does your DIY builder version have the long lead time as well? Also as someone that does fabrication on the side, I totally understand the price point of your kit!

@@cuanbarlow2323 not sure how one is related to the other. Using the manual tire changer saves on overall cost since I don’t need to make that part. Saves on shipping too. I pay more to make each kit than the manual tire changer from Harbor Freight costs to purchase. A lot more.

For the amount of rotation need to change a tire (1 rotation per side, if that) the bearings, races, and collars look like overkill and add a lot to the cost and complexity of this design.

I sell a more basic version with no bushings and bearings. If you’re doing low profile tires, all of the bearings, bushings and collars are a must.

I wonder why harbor freight doesn't make this add on to this tire changer. I bet they would see the shit out of these things if they did.

The harbor freight unit is just a pile of junk. Yes you can put this on top of it but you still have the junkie bottom. Realize the part that breaks the bead from harbor freight is a pile of crap which both bends and wallos out the rod that you push against when you try to break the bead in the tire. This add yeah on is fine for taking off tires and putting new tires on. But it does not address the fact that the harbor freight tire changer and all the other ones sold at Walmart which are the same. Chinese crap are basically rolling piles of junk. Putting a good top on one is fine, but it doesn't fix the underlying problem of cheap Chinese crap with thin steel that bends and brakes very easily

@@scottykilmer It's $49. You act like you are spending $500 for this machine. I have been using this tire changer with my homemade modification and it works fine. I used it to change the tires on all my cars with no problems. Sure sometimes the beads are hard to break, but it will get the job done. Its not made for a tire shop, its for home use. Just make some changes to it to beef it up and it will be just fine.

You can get better ones if you shop around. I bought one 15 years ago , and it doesn’t have that problem. If you have basic metal working skills this is an easy fix.

Unfortunately it’s just me doing everything and I have a ton of open orders to process. I’m not happy about the turnaround time either. I’ve been up till 3am almost every day for the past month trying to get orders out. I’m making moves to speed up production but it takes time that I don’t have to spare.
