It is a baroque. I would say that the middle part of this concerto is the most beautiful of the three parts.

The middle ages were long gone when this was composed the the Baroque period. Matthew Leung it’s not a disaster instrument... people just don’t put in the effort to play it well, except for a small number of people who were taught to appreciate it as a renaissance instrument, and one of unique sound and beauty when played correctly.

@Stephanie Ellison Only bass and tenor have keys. On rare occasions, an alto may have some, but for both the tenor and alto, they are only found on the lowest hole. Bass has them on both the upper and lower holes. I play piano, soprano, alto, tenor, bass, sopranino, and garklein recorder, a D irish tin whistle, and percussion. As well as sing. :) I have my hands full. lol.

The technique sounds good but it doesn't project and the tone is next to nothing.
