I love every time he brings out the devil face or the red eyes, because it’s always right at the perfect moment, and the reaction really does set of a "oh yeah, they’re in for it now" sensation. It’s releasing more dopamine than anything a drug could.

It makes sense when Biblically, the devil actually doesn't get mentioned as much as people think (other than being a big fancy jailer) and there's been various stories over the centuries that have explored Lucifer's character beyond Abrahamic-religous interpretations (like Milton's Paradise Lost). Btw, definitely recommend checking out the Lucifer comics this show is very loosely based off of (though he's not completely a good guy in that as much as he is more of a master manipulator in a universe full of surrealism and weirdness).

I don't think Lucifer was ever evil, we only hear about his revolt from the being that he was revolting against, and of course, Yah-Weh is a narcissistic asshole that brags about being petty and jealous at people for worshipping other gods before him, and does terrible things to them and others who are just trying to survive this messed up creation Yah-Weh made, Lucifer while I don't think he would be much better then Yah-Weh, probably was also fed up with our Creators hypocrisy and narcissistic attitude and decided to try to basically take it down a peg

And we ALL know it's just a show on TV and not real....I love the stories this show told and the way they were told....it's pure fantasy but utterly wonderful to watch ....thanks for making Lucifer and to all the actors....well done....well done as Lucifer would say!!! ❤❤❤❤

I guess that even Lucifer has his own sense and style of justice. He hates God, true, and he goes about, deceiving all that will listen to him. However, think on this:On the day that a sinner dies, the Devil gets to claim those that, according to the Bible, are his, because of the fact that they chose to live for Lucifer! man such blesphemy. He is not the lord of hell. His punishment is the lowest of hell fire. The fire itself so hot that it became dark. And he hates humans. And he is not an angel. Angel will not disobeyed God for whatever reasons. It's just that when billion of years ago, the devil used to be so pious that God lifted his status to be amongst the angels. But he is even at that point is a Jinn kind. Made of a smokeless fire. Unlike the angels who were made out of pure light. The devil is a king amongst the evil humans. To make people fall from grace he only need to convince humans to create Hollywood. And there now, people believe that he is an angel, or even the son of God.

If a guy can go from wanting to slaughter Jesus to spreading his word within one lifetime, I don't see why the devil shouldn't have gone from hating to somewhat liking humans within so many lifetimes. Also he fell from heaven because he disagreed with God, but that doesn't mean he necessarily hates him. And even if he does, it doesn't automatically mean he must also hate humans. There are plenty of people, who hate each other but still love the same other individual.

The Devil is supposed to be kind and charming as a form of manipulation to turn those that he cannot touch to his side so that he can have complete control over them. He is like a predator trying to trap its prey through carefully layered out steps however it is not up to him if the person he is trying to possess doesn’t dedicate themselves to him.

In show he does hate his father. However, you need to remember that canonically people say that devil is charming with humans and HE IS in the show. Lucifer draws your deepest desires, literally has sex with every woman he sees (and man sometimes) Additionally, let's leave the creative work to the writers. This is clearly fiction and so is Bible tbh :/
