(Little advice - use headphones)
I couldn't resist any longer! Especially after watching this week's episode of Lucifer - oh my God! I mean Devil. He is the devil. ^^
All this pain he is feeling, all that loss, the betrayal, the fear of losing someone close to him - his mum, his brother, Chloe. His problems with being a fallen angel and trying to step up to his dad, being rebellious and forcing himself to live up to that picture everyone has of the devil, while he inside is so broken. So torn apart. So tortured.
The conflicts dealt with in that show are just amazingly written, and I know it's a lot to process with the song and the voice overs, but I really hope you enjoy the video as much as I did making it!

I never thought a show could make me feel empathetic for the devil. I watched this show, and I was just sad. Lucifer is broken inside, and whenever he briefly mentions it, people brush it aside because they chalk it up to him being narcissistic.

The editing that the voices are "jumping" from one side to the other (when listening to this with headphones) perfectly displays Lucifer being torn apart emotionally. His thoughts are everywhere and he can't escape them. When he runs to the right, there's a wall of thoughts stopping him from escaping and as soon as he turns around to run into the other direction, there's yet another wall of thoughts closing in on him, suffocating him, making it hard to breathe, to survive. This editing perfectly displays being broken inside.

This series continues to amaze me as it shows that while people think the devil's evil he's more human than most and cares more than we think thank you for these videos

And all this is what's missing in season 5, the depth of the character. I know that he forgave himself, and is accepted and loved but he still has this complex troubled dark background and they completely stripped him of it leaving only the clown exterior and it just doesn't work. I hope in the 2nd part they'll pick up on the character they developed over the first 4 seasons

No one can win so what's the bloody point. That is a pretty chilling line that just gets you. After seeing everything that he's ever gone through and the precision that Tom Ellis plays it with you enjoy the series even more. lucifer is a truly broken person and I think everyone wants to comfort him or give him a hug. Because he's not evil. He's not a monster. He was made a monster. He constantly has to apologize for being the way he is but does anyone ever apologize to him for doing it to him. He's more human then he thinks and I dearly hope that in season 5 is personality is not altered. Even if has forgiven himself I don't think it's the end of his pain. Watching this with headphones is amazing. With the voices overlapping you get a truly chilling affect.

i could literally start crying. He´s been trough so much pain, had to experience so many awful things.. but btw this edit is incredible, the change of the audio on the different sides of the ear. I could literally feel his pain, his struggle, his memories.. that edit is a masterpiece. thank u 4 it

Beautiful. Brings together the pieces of his life as we've seen it. Happiness just out of reach then ripped way. Better and healing days to come for him I hope. Love this show.

Comparing the two different versions of Lucifer (Supernatural/Lucifer) is tricky because Pelligrino and Ellis play them differently. However, I relate to Lucifer Morningstar more than the Supernatural version. He's more sympathetic and easier to empathize with. Lucifer isn't evil...he punishes evil. And unlike Pelligrino's version, Morningstar shows his emotions easier (crying and screaming and lashing out when he's emotionally overwhelmed). What human wouldn't understand that? Nothing wrong or bad about Pelligrino's Lucifer (he's handsome, too), but Ellis is drop dead sexy!! 🥰

While I can’t say anything about the Supernatural version of Lucifer because I don’t watch the show, I have to say that Lucifer Morningstar is written extremely well and played by an amazing actor. At first, he seems arrogant and flamboyant, but as you get to know him you realize he’s much more than that. I absolutely adore Lucifer because of how real he feels, and I can relate a lot to him. I often find myself wishing I could reach through the screen and just give him a hug, because he really just needs it.

@@hannah-gm4bl You've never watched Supernatural?? 😳😳 What is wrong with you?! 😁 It's okay. I do recommend it highly, though. There's a reason it's lasted 15 seasons and been so very well received. The main actors (Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki) are exceptional and great eye candy, too. Certainly a long commitment but definitely worth it! That being said, I still love Lucifer Morningstar more. I have more in common with his version than Pelligrino's.

I could tell this was your video without even looking at the username. Well done. You always end up telling a story with your vids. I'm excited to see the next few episodes. Lucifer is going to have a breakdown of some sort.

Hey you! ;) It's so great to hear you enjoyed watching it! I was hoping you'd see and like it. ^^ Me too! I was kind of torn, because I wasn't sure to upload the video just yet, but then again, the upcoming episodes will probably be way too full to fit them into this video. I'm soooooo excited! I'm not saying that I love such breakdowns, but, well, kind of, yes? ^^ It's so incredible to watch and feel the pain and live with the characters. Such intense scenes and moments. I can't wait to see them!

This was damn great! I think it got a little messy near the end, but those quotes gave me chills, especially how you made them sound just like you wanted them to! I would've never thought that Trixie whispering "like the devil" could sound this dark, just like Lucifer's answer. Please keep it up, I'd love to see more videos like this!

Thank you!!!!!! This was really great to read! I know what you mean, I tried to fit in everything that gave me the chills and sometimes I get overwhelmed. That's also one reason why I used the different corners of where the sounds comes from. ^^ Hehe ^^ It's so amazing how the music can change the way a sentence sounds like. :) I love to play with that! Ja! Ich find's super solche tollen Kommentare zu lesen! :D (Ich hoffe dir machts nichts aus, wenn ich auf deutsch schreibe) Ich komm dann immer kaum aus dem Grinsen raus. Und glaub mir, ich kenn das - man kann es kaum erwawrten, dass die neue Folge kommt, und dann muss man trotzdem noch einen Tag länger warten. Ich hasse es genauso... Ich bin glücklicherweise fast schon fertig mit dem neuen Video, in der Hoffnung, dass jetzt nicht soooo unglaublich viele neue Szenen kommen, die zu dem Lied passen ^^ Und ja, bisher hat's Spaß gemacht ^^

joeyclauk Nein, natürlich nicht :D Wieso hatte ich im Gefühl dass es wieder darauf hinauslaufen wird dass wir beide Deutsch sind xD Hach ja... Schön dass ich Dir ein Lächeln schenken konnte :3 Das macht mich selbst erstaunlich glücklich ^-^" Ja, und dann enden die Folgen immer mit solchen Cliffhangern dass es kaum erträglich ist! Und ich habe Dienstags bist 17:10 Schule, dann noch zur Fahrschule...bin dann erst um ca. 20 Uhr zuhause! Hab' heute unauffällig Fahrschule ausfallen lassen und war nur zum bezahlen da. Ich konnt's einfach nicht ertragen und hör da eh immer nur das gleiche. Hoffentlich, das wäre echt blöd :/ Vorallem ärgert man sich dann doch bestimmt, nach dem Motto "wenn ich noch eine Woche gewartet hätte hätt' ich sie mit reinnehmen können" o.Ä., zumindest wäre es dann bei mir so. Aber neu machen ist ja auch albern. Aber solange es Spaß macht is' ja alles gut :) Ich liebe die Serie und genauso liebe ich Deine Videos, egal ob mit älteren oder neuen Szenen :P Jetzt ist es wieder so lang geworden xD Tut mir leid, es ist eine schlechte Angewohnheit ;)

I actually do watch these shows, but there are so many videos out there already, I wouldn't even know what scenes to take that haven't already been taken. And supernatural is just breathtaking.
