This is the deal with supernatural. Everything about its universe has a balance to it. Light and Dark. When god created Life death came into existence without the consent of God. Supernatural Rules. If you live you have to die. That’s why God has a death book because he wrote himself into the story along with Amara. Death in supernatural is the embodiment of the concept that god didn’t create. You can kill an avatar of death with his scythe but never the concept

My mind went to Tournament of Legends, a subpar Wii fighting game centered around a hodgepodge of mythical figures. I bring it up because in on of the character's endings, they not only beat Thanatos (The end all be all god of Death in this universe), but then proceeded to snap his scythe (The symbol and source of his powers [most of the other endings besides Thanatos's end with the characters becoming the new God of Death, or letting Thanatos know that they're not above coming back to kick his ass again if he ticks them off]). In doing so, he actually erased the concept of death from the world, but in doing so, also more or less destroyed all life, not because you can't have one without the other, mind you, but because the old, sick, injured, and maimed could never pass, they were trapped in withering husks that could still be damaged and decayed. The world hated him because he had basically doomed everyone alive to eventually become a walking corpse. Apologies for the rant, I just don't get to talk about this game a lot and your comment made me think of it, so I dropped this here.

He Knew that Anti Monitor was Destroying Everything but still didn't care, He Immediately Flies back to Earth each time he gets killed which means he's above Death and Also he learned to control his self actualization which means he can give himself any Power he Desires. I'm Not Saying He would win but it definitely won't be as easy fight as people think it would be, Plus he's an excellent Figher and has Beaten Both Amenadiel and Michael in a Hand To Hand fight which is impressive considering How Both of them are God's warriors

Now About that Self actualization, in the series Lucifer God give each of his Archangel the Power Of Self actualization, Which means the Way they see themselve determines the Role and Power they will Get, For Example Uriel Understood That Creation has Patterns so He Gained the Ability to Read The Pattern of Everything, Amenadiel Saw Himself as a Solitude Angel and Didn't want To have anything to do with Mortals so he gained The Ability to Manipulate Time so no one would Notice him and also Lost that power after he got Comfortable With People, or Lucifer Himself who is the Rebel and does as he Desires so He Gained the Ability to Bring out the Desire of Everyone. In Season Six Lucifer Tells his Daughter that he can Control his power and Proves it by Asking her to Shoot her and When She does Lucifer Bleeds which means he Learned to Control His Self actualization, so My question is What stops him from Giving himself other Abilities like Amenadiels Time Manipulation or Uriel Pattern Reading or Azrael's Soul Manipulation? And some may say He won't be able to make him self too powerful which I would Respectfully Disagree since Amenadiel Self actualizated Himself As Freaking God and managed to Replace His Father. So much as I agree that Lucifer was Nerfed and Didn't have much a scene to show his power I still Believe he is far More Powerful that People Believe, I mean He Did Know about Crises on Infinite Earths but Wasn't Worried at all and Even Helped Constantine on that matter

@Daniel Abdol so your point is based on a "maybe he can give himself other powers?" Its a decent theory but nothing has been actually proved so what you're saying sounds like pure speculation. And they never explained how Amenadiel became God. Theres no proof that he self actualized. I heard that it wasn't even supposed to end like that and had changed the ending at the last minute. And with Supernaturals death it's been stated that even he can reap God. If someone dies by normal means then yeah some are able to come back. But if death takes you himself then there is no coming back.

what they did with the character of Death is criminal, they turned him into an intimidating being on par with God, and then he became one that anyone could defeat with a snap, lucifer of the 5th season feared him, and he Lucifer himself from 15 temp eliminated her as if she were a random demon, the death played by Julian Richings was spectacular, so I'll take that one into account and ignore all the others haha, with this in mind death ends lucifer easily LA, who is even weaker than SPN's Luci, even so this death is not stronger than God (chuck) since he is not a primordial being, as would later be revealed with the multiverse, The 1st death of SPN > LA Lucifer No diff, this death considered the galaxy as something tiny and insignificant xD, by the way, excelent edit pal 👍

Fax. Comics are a different story though. Lucifer in supernatural had to kinda gain permission to bind the four horsemen and he was described by Death as a bratty child. In the comic on the other hand, Lucifer died due to the Basanos and Susano o-no mikoto performing a ritual to reverse Lucifer's power. He confronted Death of the endless and specifically stated that she had no claim on him. Lucifer's will in the comics overrides death.

Death has no influence over Lucifer, as he, Michael and Gabriel were the first of the Presence's creations, that existed before everything, even Death. The Presence easily tops Lucifer, especially due to the fact that the Presence doesn't have an “actual” manifestation. It can become anything it wishes, on top of its everlasting presence and influence on all things.

Many people are bring the Sandman comics Lucifee just to make it clear this is a battle between Death from the Supernatural show and Lucifer from the Netlfex not from the Comics just because the Nerlfex Lucifer is inspired by Dc Lucifer does not mean the comics Lucifer feats would be directly apply to the Netlfex Lucifer . The comic and the Netlfex Lucifer are different.

One thing to take note of is that Death cannot really die, it exists throughout the cosmos for balance. You can kill the horseman or reap that take its place but it will always be there. Lucifer on the other hand can. And wouldn’t lucifer die immediately when Death touches him 🤣🤣🤣🤣 this is not even a contest.

...then that same character was wiped by dean 💀 Its actually hard to say who will win cause the show never showed his power, except for an episode in one of the earlier seasons where he turned a car on by just looking at it. Thats the only time the show showed power.

@@nobbeep8978 Death is immortal. It cannot dies. Only the physical body can, but if Death "dies", it's replaced by an other reaper who will take the role of Death to become the new one. If you did not notice it, the new "Death" in Supernatural wears the ring of Death, making it the 4th horseman. Death is immutable, universal, everywhere and nowhere at the same time. Death is litteraly out of time.

Lucifer from tv series is more normal ground character , sure he is superstrong , but i don t see him a better level than spiderman. If you put him against Death ( from supernatural) it means that you don t whatch any of this 2 shows.

Death is a remnant of life, death itself doesn’t exist, even if killed death will forever be death, once God created life death was created without Gods consent, death in supernatural isn’t what death actually is, death never looked like the Grim Reaper, death doesn’t exist and like I said a remnant of life.
