I´m truly fascinated by the music and aesthetics of Luciferian Light Orchestra. This video is somewhat repetitive, but it has a very unique special allure (as the whole band). Each one have a band which identify themselves like any other, and this is my band =D

@@ChompskyHomp I don't think "ripped off" is quite the right word - this is a Therion project, and Therion would be the first ones to admit that they've got a heavy dose of Candlemass and Celtic Frost in their DNA, and Candlemass at least is aware of it - Messiah Marcolin has even performed live with Therion, and Mats Leven has performed vocals in Therion and Candlemass both for years.

I really hate that Johnsson shut down Therion. I used to be a tremendous fan and supported them until their style turned to " I want to attract 15yo goths " and lost every element that made them unique in the occult basis. And let's face it, this Lcf Light Orchestra thing is nothing special compared to Therion (especially early works). Is this clip for real? I mean Therion fans like this? If anyone has the least experience with Therion, will understand why I can't take this seriously. Sorry, but this band won't go far.

Astarte Rising No idea where you got the idea from that Therion has been "shut down". In reality the band is (since a couple of years) working on the biggest and most ambitious project yet. You must be one of very few people interested in the band being unaware of that. Not that the band has changed in any way in that regard (as you claim), but it's still very odd reading about fans that care more about the occult lyrics than the music. It's not necessary that Therion fans has to like LLO, it's a different band (by the same creator). Why is it that some people (like you) have the opinion that having something additional makes them feel they have lost something? If you don't like a bonus song on a CD you skip it. If you don't like a record with a band you don't have to buy it. If you don't like a band you don't have to bother about them. Others may like it, you don't, what's the big deal?

Therionofficial This is true, "shut down" is not the word, but I read some time ago (I think in an interview) that Therion will not be the same and will turn into something completely different, so I assumed that this new project is as far as it will go, concerning new releases. Since I got an official response saying the opposite, I can't argue with that, so my bad. To be honest, I know that I sound like a mean judge, and I don't try to correct no musician (especially when working on his own label), but I am worried we will never hear anything like Theli or Vovin or even Sirius B again. Of course things change and can be very hard as time goes by, but Therion was always a serious band (not a "goth parody" like others), the only one of its kind (music, lyrics, themes) and it won't just be the same if it deviates more and more from its original aesthetics. I bother only because of that. From then on, I'm just a fan saying two things, there is no big deal.

Astarte Rising Musically you will never hear two albums sounding the same. If you or others will like future albums as good as those mentioned is hard to predict. People have different taste. You win some and loose some, that's how it goes if you want to vary your self. Therion is just as serious as a band now as ever. Just because you may not have liked some spectacular video clips done in association with a cover album made to celebrate the bands 25 year anniversary (or what ever your problems is), doesn't mean regular albums will be any different. And there is nothing gothic about the bands appearance either. At least not the last 8 years. In what way would the last regular album Sitra Ahra be "gothic" or not serious?

Therionofficial I do not think there is a single soul that prefers late works rather than the earlier albums. And I refer to people like me who actually bought the cds , not those who stream 2 or 3 tracks on youtube and then jump to recommended bands in 5 minutes. There will be always people who listen to Therion piled up with Blutengel,Lacrimosa,Epica and Nightwish and think it's the same "gothic/symphonic" thing, but that's not me. There are fans and there are fans. Most won't even care if an album isn't what they expected, cause the whole youtube thing has f****d everything up, especially the metal scene. "My problem" is that I expect more from this band. And sorry but things like "Initials B.B" are not spectacular video clips, unless I'm too ignorant to understand the message beneath this imagery. I was in the 2010 Therion live in Athens, Greece and that was something I call spectacular, or the Live Gothic dvd, but not these clips.

Well I for one am one of those people who enjoy their occult lyrics equally, if not more than their music actually. Does that make me one of the minority of fans (who prefer their message to the tunes), probably yes. But I'm proud of being one of the few to actually like their occult messages, but alas everyone cannot be occultists....
