Damn she's friggin amazing! 25ish years ago i had SNL on TV in one room and I was in another room and I remember them announcing her, and I heard her sing Changed the Locks for the very first time. I stopped what i was doing and stood there mesmerized. As soon as she was done I left the house and went to the music store and bought that CD. True Story. I've never done that before or after.

This is the most powerful song I think I've ever heard of any genre. This is a woman that knows something about an abusive relationship. I can't quit listening to it....I just can't believe it took me to so long to discover it.
