I have just finished reading the "missing sister" and I have only the highest regard and esteem for Lucinda Riley who continued to write these amazing stories throughout her illness. Our sincere condolences to her family. Shocked and saddened by the news of her passing. She will forever be remembered for the hours of entertainment and escapism she has given to us... a real gift. RIP Lucinda. God bless you.

I'm shocked and saddened about her passing, an amazing author, I have read most of her books, which I will cherish, and I was so excited when she announced the Pa'Salt book too, which let's see if it was finished. I’m was so saddened to hear of lucinda’s passing. Last year when lockdown happened I started reading properly for the first time and loved all her books. I have managed to get a copy of the Missing Sister and can’t wait to read! Thanks for the inspiration. RIP.

Her legacy is so valuable and we are left with this treasure that we can read again and again but my heart is shocked and very sad to learn she has passed over and I never knew she had any illness. I have every book written by Lucinda Riley. She is a most wonderful author. I am so very sad that she lost the battle of cancer. I had no idea that she was ill. Iwill miss her SO much.

Fantastic writer so looking forward to the final book,I absolutely love the midnight rose have read it 3 times and it does everything a novel should do,transports you to different times and places. The world is a sad place without her. Love to all her family x

Lucinda was such an incredible woman and author; her books are individually beautiful and each feels life a gift, taking one on a magical journey of discovery. I have no idea how she constructed the narrative and timeline as she did, an unenviable task and a marvellous achievement. I felt connected with every one of the sisters as sometimes their experiences reflected my own, and I laughed and cried along with them. I'm not a lover of 'romance' novels, but Lucinda has forever changed this outlook. Lucinda in her early days of writing took the trouble to personally write to me after I wrote to let her know how her work had moved me. I think that says everything about Lucinda as a person. Such a terrible loss for everyone, most especially her beloved family. May her legacy of love never die.

I have absolutely loved all of Lucinda's books which were real 'page turners'. I have just finished reading the Missing Sister which didn't really have an ending as Lucinda was intending to conclude it in book 8 by writing Pa Salt's story. Consequently, I was really shocked and saddened to hear of her death. RIP Lucinda.

My deepest sympathy to Lucinda's family on her recent passing. She has been one of my favourite writers for years. I was hooked on the Seven Sisters series and was in the middle of reading The Missing Sister when I heard the sad news. 💔

So sad she has passed on my best friend's birthday who incidentally introduced me to her 7 Sister Books. I then went on to read all her other books. RIP what is going to happen to the PA Salt book? Does anyone know if there were any research or notes about him?
