I actually have cousin who had a story of his own On 6/15/2023, a tornado hit my town (Perryton, TX) and it hit the trailer park where him (Byron Ramirez) and his little brother (Matthew Ramirez) used to live and when the tornado pick them up, his brother sadly passed away while he survived with minor injuries including brain damage and a concussion since a water boiler fell on his head and after the tornado, emergency rushed for all injured and dead victims including him and his brother to rush them to different hospitals and to remind family members about their loved ones who passed away. My cousin was sent to Amarillo and had to get several surgeries and was finally good, he was able to walk again and never knew his brother passed away until a month later, his mom told him about Matthew. He's doing great and moved to his new house a month and a half ago and his mom had to give away her restaurant (Los Charros) so she would never lose another child again.

My mother almost died in a car accident two years ago this month. She was driving and a car came up to her blind spot and honked their horn. Mom got so startled that she turned the wheel a bit too hard and sent herself flying. The car rolled over twice and landed upside-down. Mom was lucky to be wearing a seat belt because the firefighters (or ambulance workers. I don't remember that part) told her "If you weren't wearing your seat belt, your accident would have been fatal" This all happened when me and my brother were at school. Our adult brother told us a while after we got inside. We were so worried for her. Her finger got bent a bit weirdly (never to be fully healed) and a little bruised, but other than that, she made a full recovery💕 (Me and my brother were in late Elementary school then)

We were driving behind a semi truck on the freeway once when one of it's tires shed it's retread. It flew back and hit our windshield. Scared the heck out of us, but didn't damage anything. That was nothing compared to when a random tire came bouncing over the medium of the road from the other side of traffic. If my dad didn't swerve into the other lane, it would have hit us. Thankfully traffic on our side was basically nonexistent, so no one was in the other lane or behind us for the tire to hit.

The plywood story. While I was moving to the apartment I live in now, mom made me take my ENTIRE bed without tying it down, in my uncle's pickup. Now I was upset because I had an online event to be at and she INSISTED I move out this day, even though she had insisted I NOT move out two weeks prior on singing the lease. "Slow burn" she called it. Well I was pissed and floored the pickup, which caused the wooden frame to fly out of the OPEN back and shatter. "Whatever" she said. Made me drive down the highway, and not even halfway down the 20 mile way, the unanchored mattress flew out and into the ditch, after which I not only had to hoist it back into the pickup bed, I then had to drive on the shoulder with the hazards on the next 10 miles. x,x

I've went skiing before and this was my first time! I had my boots on attached to the skis just fine because the instructor attached them, but I didn't understand how to slow myself down that much. All of the boots had been there for a while, so they probably were just old. I had been practicing on the smaller hill before, and thought I'd be fine on the fast route. On my second time down the faster route, I tried to slowdown once and my boot unlocked, and I kept sliding down into a ditch. I think it was the pressure from the boot on the latch and the compacted snow building up around it that made it unlock. My friends were with me, and the instructor, so I got out fine, but it was a terrifying experience for me!

The ski fall was for sure worse than the train. If the worst happened the train would be instant and falling down a cliff your aware for the entire fall 😮😮horrifying (and i hate heights) 😅

I once was in a situation too like this . When i was small i almost put my whole head in the wood chipper if it weren't for my father who was there at the right time i won't be here today. Still remember that feeling after being saved almost from my death.

My son was driving I5 in Seattle. Out of the blue the commuters watched as a truck tire rolled and bounced thru 4 lanes traveling over 55mph. With lanes occupied nobody could switch lanes as quickly as the random tire. It took one more bounce and landed on the hood of my sons car. It came to a screeching halt, distroying the engine. I say prayers of thanx for all the variables that could have but didn't land on my kid.

19:19 Well, it's not always cold and damp down in the mines. If you visit Bergwerk Merkers (a salt mine in Germany) you'll notice how warm it is down there. And it's bone dry too, because of all the salt absorbing the last little bit of moisture brought down there. And Bergwerk Merkers isn't claustrophobic either, with trucks being able to drive down there and even some giant caves being dug out.

Something really scary happened like the skier who fell in the hole to a guy in india One day some friends were on a trip, they were exploring a cave that was closed off to the public, when they were exploring the cave, one of the friends fell into a hole which was covered by dry leaves, that hole was said to be endless and 30 people had actually fell into that hole in the past and not survived. The friends didnt know if he was alive or dead, fortunately his belt which he had tied around his pants got stuck in a little crack and was hanging there unconsiously, even the local police were too scared to go down the hole to rescue him, that is when one of his friends volunteered to go down to hole to rescue him.He was eventually rescued after 8 hours The hole was known as the 'Devil's kitchen',this happened in the year 1986.After this incident that hole was closed using steel bars I wish my man sees this and makes a video just like this one with this incident in it

Been in a few situations like this. A taxi flying around a blind corner on a red light, I was on foot and if I hadn't waited the extra 5 seconds I would have been seriously injured or worse. Another was when I was volunteering a lady came to the back door with donations, I helped her and I was initially stood next to her car but then decided to stand in the doorway to wave her off, she tried to reverse but her foot slipped and jerked forward into the wall a foot in front of her. Another was I was heading to a uni interview with my mam and we were behind a truck with steel pipes, we were a good distance behind just in case when we came up to a low bridge and the truck barely made it, my mam and I gasped in horror and she said that this was why she left a huge gap.

I was rushing to get dressed from having my shower to go out to babysit my little cousins when I tripped in my bed room, fell out of my bedroom door and nearly smacked my head on a cubbard door. I was millimeters away from knocking myself out! It still shocks me to this day that it happened! I could have seriously been hurt, and as I live by myself in a 1 bed flat, I worry about what could have happened.

I have a story my Dad told me: My Dad was Driving Through a Neighborhood after finishing Work, and he came to an Intersection My Dad noticed one of his Friends, so they waved at each other, then my Dad was driving Unknown to my Dad, His Friends Daughter was crossing the street, moving right in front of my Dad, The Light was Green for my Dad, so it was his turn to go, yet the Girl started to cross the street when he started Driving Luckily, My Dad managed to notice in time to stop, but she still got hit slightly She is ok, and my Dad went to his Friends House to see if she's fine and to apologize, His Friend was Forgiving as it wasn't really his fault

I was the pedestrian half of a hit and run back in Sept 2003. The lone eyewitness guessed they were doing 40-45 mph and said they never even tapped their brakes. I was about 15 feet to one side of a Blockbuster Video when they hit me and about 15 feet past the store when I landed (easily 100+ feet). I never lost consciousness, was able to immediately get myself out of the road, and somehow didn't break a single bone in my body (4 staples in the top of my head is all, basically a few stitches). I was walking the next day... slowly and painfully, but walking on my own. I'm honestly lucky I lived, let alone essentially walked away from it.

the truck stories are really real btw, you ALWAYS gotta check over your truck before each start of the day. one story my dad told me (he is also a trucker) was when this guy's bumper on the back of his trailer was loose and it flew up and bounced up and down many times like a bouncy ball and struck a fuel tank of a car on the highway. That caused a really big fire, and i think there was whole family of 4 in that mini van. they all burnt to death. the tucker was convicted to life in prison (i think.( i dont remember the whole ordeal). so this is why trucking is a super serious job and why its so important to check over your truck even if you dont wanna.
