amv's have caused me to watch/discover so many anime, even some really obsecure stuff that may not be utterly amazing but sometimes is really good, at least if your in the right mindset for the content.. (i duno about anybody else, but i more then a few times have found an anime unwatchable, then later gone back and given it another go, and gotten hooked.)
