Because we all know this fat smurf is going to sell it on ebay or some other auction site for a ridiculously high price when the time comes. Think about it, why else would he ask Stallone not to sign it under his name or any of his family names? He did it for authenticity's sake and its more valuable when Stallone puts his name on it instead of some random person who nobody cares.

Sly is so down to earth and so humble. A real star. Brought a tear to my eye. A real hero, worked hard all his life. I hope the kid understands how lucky he is and just doesn’t go on and sell the pictures.

I met Sly in 2004 and this is exactly what he was like. He actually approached me and a group of guys I was with at the Arnold Expo in Ohio. He is a genuine person.

Whenever anyone says they don’t want an autograph personalized, it’s because they’re going to sell it. There’s no amount of money I would take if I was able to get Sly’s autograph on something like that

That kid was so polite, turns up in a bow tie, looking like a snooker player. "Please Mr Stallone, may I trouble you for your autograph sir" That was a good interaction there and Stallone responded to the courtesy really well.

I've always felt Sly has put alot of himself into Rocky amongst his other characters which is why I've appreciated his naturalistic acting in those movies, he's not trying to be Brando or a DeNiro, he's just himself and its always admiring.

Stallone has been my hero, my idol since I was a child. One of my fondest memories was walking into my bedroom seeing my dad shout at the tele he was shouting at Drago watching Rocky IV. And my life changed from that day.

James Leonard I agree the autograph prices are absurd. But that alone doesn’t mean he’s not a decent guy. The companies hosting these autograph signings are the ones who are truly greedy. You really think Stallone needs to be signing autos for money at this point in his life? I’m pretty certain if you ran into him on the street, he’d give you his auto for nothing if the timing was right.
