I looooved this movie so much. I think it was really good and a bit different from the typical rom com we usually see and not toxic. It was both sexy and cute with a great chemistry 👏

YEESSS thank you for saying in your description that the book is better. I always love seeing my imagination of the story come to life in a movie, but this film adaptation just did NOT do it for me. They changed soooo much. Everyone- read the book! You’ll LOVE Josh!

È raro che dopo aver visto un film ci pensi per tutta la mattina seguente eppure questo mi ha letteralmente colpito.. sembra che non si sopportino, sembra che si provochino a vicenda perché si odiano ma la verità è che non si odiano affatto e lo dimostrano benissimo. Due attori pazzeschi e perfetti nella sintonia.. è veramente bello come film e per un attimo avrei desiderato di incontrare anch'io una persona così, da odiare ma adorare allo stesso tempo 🤣 ti tiene con l'ansia, incollata lì per capire cosa succederà, perché lui è così, perché lei lo detesta, perché alla fine sono fatti l'uno per l'altra 😍🖤 lo rivedrò ancora sicuramente, merita tantissimo!!!

@@comradeleppi2000 korean, Chinese, thai, and Turkish dramas. The only downfall to Turkish dramas is that it is very long most of them go up to 3 seasons..

Curious- the whole time I was watching the movie, I kept thinking “why did they change the timeline?!” So- would you consider doing a new edit with the clips in the same timeline as the book? I wish I knew how to do it but I’m not as skilled as you!

In the bedroom scene she said “the other day” a few times and it was off putting. Cause it wasn’t. Like in the movie is all this activity happening in like 2 weeks? I dunno. I didn’t mind it was holiday focused but if only they’d put more into that piece of it. Or them deciding to spend the holiday together or ANY hint from Lucy that there was more than a physical attraction or ANY time spent where there’s that “look” that something more could be on the horizon. That was a lot to unload but I’m hoping for some deleted scenes to fill the gap. To me it was good n funny but with a few more elements it could’ve been a juggernaut

@@MFStarr I totally agree! I feel the book just has a lot of depth, and every time you go back and read it, you catch a line that makes it all so cohesive. The second time I read the book, I realized how many lines from Joshs perspective are different once you know the end, and such. I think the film version just missed so much depth and intimacy

@@kbahr214 depth and intimacy. I blame the screenwriter 😂. Cause it just looks like he’s panting after her the whole film without the reciprocity. The reciprocity is where the magic starts to happen. The actor did such a good job with his expressions to show where he was emotionally. And she’s like I thought you hated me, but people who hate us don’t comfort n care for us while we are sick. Or send us flowers. That would’ve been the perfect moment for her to say- well I thought you hated me but I see something new is developing. Like men who don’t care about you will definitely take freely offered sex. And he told her flat out. Idk. It’s more Lucy’s character than anything that makes me insane. But I still can’t stop watching it. Go figure. Ugh I want to turn it in and tell them to fix it 😂.

@@MFStarr hahaha the end of what you wrote- same here! That’s part of why I asked this video channel if they’d make another edit that’s chronological. I just read the book again after watching the movie, and there’s so much dialogue that I didn’t realize came from the book bc it’s not in the right setting or timeline! Twilight, Harry Potter, huger games, divergent, flipping da Vinci code… they followed the books to the law and only edited for time. Why didn’t we get the same deal with this!! *le sigh*

@@kbahr214 yeah they did (potter head here). I just… I know this isn’t big in the scheme of life but I mean- all she had to do was copy/paste. That’s not HARD 😩. I even thought Lucy needed a confidante, and if she didn’t have one, then she could. Have narrated a bit like she did in the opening monologue. I’d have taken that over randoms crossing the street. 🤔Just- all I want for Valentine’s Day is the deleted scenes 😂
