Lucy will turn 20 next month. She has gotten better and better since recording Hallelujah at 16.

That was Lucy at 16. You really must try some of her more recent recordings. Now 19, Lucy’s voice has noticeably matured and her singing has got even better. Outstanding recent solo performances include ‘Evergreen’ and from only a few days ago ‘A Whiter Shade of Pale’. And then there are the duets with her little sister Martha who has only just turned 14 - ‘The Prayer’ would be an excellent choice, recorded when Lucy was 18 and Martha 12.

I would recommend “Evergreen”from “A Star Is Born” cover originally by Barbra Streisand. But there are many more to choose from that are just as mind blowing. Lucy has a way of very gently arresting your sole and drawing you into each and every recording. Thanks for the review. Stay safe, healthy, and happy.

Hello thank you for reacting to Lucy singing "Hallelujah " she has over 141 million veiws of this cover, most people think it's the best version ever, with all these views they may be right she was only 16years of age when she sang this song. YES !!! This is THE most reacted to video/song of Lucy, with over 41 million views, and this was the song that introduced me, NO GRABBED me and introduced me to Lucy !!!! I believe she is the greatest singer out there today, Lucy and her5 year 8 month younger little sister restored this old mans faith that people can still SING today !!! Decades ago I gave up on the CRAP being presented as "Modern Music" with the grungy singers, 1/2 naked, unkempted screamers, with their flashing lights, smoke and vocal gymnastics to cover the fact they were only different or wilder. Lucy has been singing since she was 7 first recording at 9, Colors of the wind, 10 RUN, on the beach, 11 Let it go, at 13 she appeared on Britains got talent, Voice Kids, yes she is British and made it to semifinalist, and was immediately signed to a record contract at 14 by Chris Broom of Cavendish Records, she just released her 5th CD BEYOND, shown on the screen there at the end of the song, she has over 70 songs recorded, and her latest shown there on the screen WHITER SHADE OF PALE, her best EVER, definetely watch that one she is STUNNING !!!! Lucy has millions of followers, LUCY THOMAS MUSIC is the place to go along with ROSIE the Musical Chris Broom and Lucy are co producing to open in West London this Fall, with Lucy singing the lead role of original songs, BROKEN DREAMS, STARLIGHT,SUDDENLY, ABOVE THE CLOUDS, ONE DAY, and another original BRAND NEW DAY> check her out and I will subscribe IF you play Lucy's songs !!! Thank you for this reaction.Very nice and beautiful studio production. Singing smooth and perfect. Good acting also. But I didn't feel anything looking and listening to this. I feel no need to listen to this again, although she has a good voice.

I don't know what it is, but somehow Lucy is taking us into the emotion of the songs she performs. There are not many singers how can do that, but Lucy Thomas, Angelina Jordan and Amira Willighagen are doing just that. They are so different, they each do have her own genre/stile, but what these girls have in common: they guide us into their musical World, including the emotions of the songs they perform. And that leaves us impressed. If you like, listen to Lucy's "Brand New Day". A simple but wonderful song and I promise you will be into it from the very start of it. It's the melody and the lyrics which are both catching me, every time I listen to it.

@@davidbale55 As Lawrence and Tom said we can like both. But difficult for me to understand that because they are like chalk and cheese, and I cannot see why anyone would put AJ above Lucy. But some prefer more contemporary art and music, while most just like a good song well sung with great voice and a song we can sing along to and enjoy. I don’t care if Lucy is the biggest star or not, if she continues singing as she does I’ll continue listening Lucy and enjoying. Good luck to AJ but I won’t be listening to her.

Everything that you have heard and read is correct. Our faith is strong but you needed proof, so you listened. Hallelujah! Ok you just heard the best versions of ‘O Holy Night’, ‘Hallelujah’, and next ‘The Prayer’. Contemplate ‘The Prayer’ on the tree of WOW!!! 🤯 I won’t spoil the surprise but their version of ‘The Prayer’ is mind blowing for it’s complexity and their young ages, and deserves an award for the rest. Considering all and thinking about it then listening. Very beautiful! She can absolutely sing. However, after hearing the live recording by Emma Kok, it is indeed a perfect fabricated studio production but nothing more. Emma Kok's voice is not as perfect in a live recording, but she really touches your heart with this song❤. Emma does not act, she lives the song.

Like Lucy, Emma Kok is a great new talent and good singer and I wish her all the best. Sad about Emma’s bad health and all credit the Emma for continuing on with life the same. Many suffer from bad health and it is sad for all of us, but Emma is courageously not letting that stop her. Therefore more heart touching when we know her struggle. 😢 But ill health doesn’t mean a better singer, however we probably feel more empathy and emotion to them for that. Emma’s had the opportunity to showcase with the full orchestra and copy on from Lucy, and she is the great talent, but these live performances are still produced into a video. I’m not pulling Emma down and I’ve enjoyed her new version of Hallelujah, and Voilà - not that I understood the lyrics but I still enjoyed it after the introduction of her ill health and seeing the crowd respond. Plus I will definitely listen more from Emma. 👍 You have compared and put Emma above Lucy on the Lucy post, which is your choice and personal taste opinion. I respect your opinion and I do like Emma Kok. I’ve listened both and many others and Lucy for me is the best. Yes this song Hallelujah is a studio production, but Emma’s is also a studio production of a live performance. Comparing both Lucy is better in my opinion. I’ve also had the pleasure of watching Lucy sing this song live and other songs up close live and personal. @@ChrisScott0 I totally agree that Lucy is a beautiful singer and I thought her version of Hallelujah was the best I'd heard, until.... I have to admit that knowing Emma's background does add up to experiencing her performances. But leaving that out of the equation still Emma puts so much of her soul into her songs. Nevertheless I can appreciate Lucy very much like miljoen others do.

@@pioter3124 The same with Lucy, I thought all the greats were the best until Lucy came and was better. Lucy truly is the remarkable singer. But there is always another that eventually is better - to some anyway. I wish they would only sing their own original songs then no comparisons. Listen Lucy sing her 'Broken Dreams'. Great that you liked Lucy and then even more like Emma - double success for both ears. I will be keep up with Emma, and I even have enjoyed before her the André Rieu orchestra. I more prefer the female singers and there are a few good ones around, Emma is one of them.
