In this video tutorial I will show you how to make a colorful Mokume Gane veneer! Also, I will show you how you can use your Mokume scraps - this is very mediative process!
And in my next video I will teach you how to make bracelet from this colorful veneer, which I call “Tropical siesta”.

I got all my textures from G.F.ArtTools - and I’m sooo much happy with them! And they not only looks great, but also they works just excellent!
This is how I store them in my studio. I put all of them into big size plastic bags by pairs, back to back, so I can easy to see, which pattern I want to use!
All this textures made from very good quality of polyurethane, they are very strong and flexible, but they are not to soft, so they make very clear imprint. You need to use them with water spray or with wet baby wipes, I like more with spray! Just imagine - how many beautiful and unique pieces of jewelry or decoration you can make with using this textures!
The patterns on all textures are very unique and pretty deep, so we can use them for many interesting techniques. Such as Mica Shift, Mokume Gane, Hidden Magic or Sutton Slice! I will do a video tutorials on all this techniques with using my textures!

Very beautiful!! And thank you for showing the settings you use on the pasta machine. My thickest setting is 7 and you mentioned its 0 on yours. knowing this will help a lot.

Gorgeous color combinations! I don’t think I could pick a favorite. I’m so happy to see a 10% off code for your textures. I keep going back to the GF Art Store on Etsy trying to decide which textures to buy. They are all so lovely! I’m really confused about the clay you used though. I was not aware that Premo made translucent colors. Are the yellow, blue, and green translucents old Premo clays?

I got my texture sheets in the mail today. I feel like the ones in the video are bigger. I’m excited to try but they are smaller than I expected after seeing this video. Am I imagining that the ones in the video are bigger than the ones I got?

Hello Jenny! Please, contact to product producer, on page where you bought the textures! Also you can see all size details in the product description :) Usually that textures have 3 sizes, the largest is 15x10cm (6x4 inches), medium - 10x8cm (~4*3 inches).

If she sliced any deeper, she would ruin this particular design of having the the gold top layer outline the wavy colors.

renata pavlovcic... Should you look close enough you will see all the colors she used shown through after shaving it. The black, as well as the white. Look and learn. That’s is just her technique. She is AMAZING 😉

Not only is this technique a beautiful one, you can use the shavings from the layers, nothing is wasted and still gorgeous. I have seen others create with this technique, but not with Ms Ludmila's unique texture(s). That is where the magic is! I am ordering today...Thank you Ludmila, Bless u!
