As a general question I think that we should say yes, because a single molecule is such a specific thing that it should have to be expressly specified, so all other instances should be safe to assume is more than 1 molecule amount of water.

The thing about the Lions vs Pokemon thing. There are certain pokemon that the lions just can't fight back against. Such as Rayquaza, it can for one, fly. It can stay in the air using a ranged attack, and it could pretty much wipe out the entire earth if it wanted. Infact, many pokemon could theoretically wipe out the earth. How is a Lion supposed to counteract that.

The main issue with the whole 1 billion lions vs every pokemon seems to be perspective. I believe there are two kinds of perspective to take here, which is game and lore / anime. On a game perspective, yea. Heck, there’s moves and other team set ups where lvl1 pokemons or a team or normally weak pokemons can easily take down even the highest leveled pokemon. It’s not a question that a billion lions can easily sweep every pokemon in existence through brute force in numbers. On a lore perspective, it’s a very different story. Legendaries will obviously be the MVP of this fight, and they will treat those billion lions like ragdolls. You got a pokemon who reigns over the very land, and the very seas. A single earthquake or a massive tsunami can easily wipe out those lions goodbye. And those are just two legendaries. And, without game perspective, how the heck are lions going to kill pokemon who can fly and teleport. They’d be attacking and retreating like it’s some damn video game. At this perspective, id call you an idiot for choosing lions when you got beings who can control time and space itself, dimensions, and most types of existing elements at a whim.

The “is water wet?” Question is a trick question because it can be answered both ways. Answer 1: Water is wet, because the term wet would indicate that there is an excessive amount of moisture in or on something. Answer 2: Water is not wet, because in order for something to be wet, there has to be a surface that can retain water, or lots of moisture. I could go more into it but you get the point. In my opinion, water is not wet.

For the trolley problem, think of it this way: Five people are on one track, one person on the other. You get to choose whether or not to save the one person or save the five people by pulling a lever. This is the main plot of the trolley problem. BUT, if you pull that lever, you would be responsible for killing that one person, whereas if you were to just leave that lever how it was, you wouldn't be responsible for anything since you didn't intervene. Some of you are probably gonna ask, "Well what if it's my friend on that track? Or a government official?" or some sh!t. It's still the same. Even if one of the five people was a person in power, you would STILL have the blood on your hands, however if you just left it the way it was, you wouldn't have to worry about anything since you didn't have a role in the grand scheme of things. Okay here's what I think would be best: Q1: One Lasagna or two? Well, if the lasagna doesn't have both the top and bottom as pasta, you COULD say it's one. It's like stacking burgers. If you stack two burgers that both have two buns, you just have two burgers. But if one of them is missing a bun, its a Big Mac, which is one burger. Same with lasagna. As long as there isn't a double layer of pasta, you could call it one lasagna. HOWEVER, most lasagna have pasta on top and bottom, and as ludwig said, one part could be different from the other. Therefore, it is TWO. Q2: 1 Billion Lions V. Every pokemon? I'm not a pokemon nerd, so I don't know most pokemon, but lions take that dub. I've seen ludwig play pokemon before, and it only takes 2-3 pokemon to kill pretty much any strong pokemon, so 1 billion lions. Q3: Is cereal soup? I think ludwig nailed this one, if you asked someone if they want soup, they aren't looking for cereal. Soup needs broth, and vegetables/meats in it. I could see some kind of descriptive writer describing any solid in any liquid a "soup", but for conventional means, cereal is not a soup. Q4: Is water wet? No, water combines with things to make them wet. You need a mixture of water and something to call it "wet". Saying water is wet is like saying blue is purple. You mix blue with red to make purple. lions would be normal type, and as we know they wouldn’t be able to do anything against ghosts. gengar would be able to survive the lions. flying types would be able to fly for a very long time, and rayquazza would be able to just fly back into the atmosphere, regain his health, and fly back down to kill the lions. lions don’t have any reach besides right in front of them, it’d be impossible for them to do any damage to rayquazza. with no projectile moves, lions would be at a heavy disadvantage. also kyogre? he’d have such a better advantage being able to submerge deep underwater. the battle would take forever, and the lions would kill most of the pokémon, but in the end the pokémon would win. Also the question is EVERY pokémon, not one of each type of pokémon. that means it is well more than 900 pokémon.

There is no rule surrounding how many layers constitutes a lasagna. Therefore, a single lasagna can be made of a varying number of layers- however (correct me if i'm wrong here), the cheese at the top of a lasagna tends to be crispier, fuller and more well done in comparison to the cheese present in lower layers. These contrasting characteristics could help us in distinguishing where the 1st lasagna ended and the 2nd one started (assuming we have now stacked the two lasagnas on top of one another). In doing so, we have a physical, chemical and visual way of viewing each lasagna- which as a result supports the contention that stacking a lasagna on top of another lasagna still leaves you with two lasagnas.

He can talk to every pokemon to get them on a team, while the lions are scattered. Also, rayquaza or mewtwo or some other powerful pokemon can fly to space and blow up the planet they’re fighting on. Killing all the lions and other pokemon, but rayquaza or mewtwo or whatever is still alive. Also, if the explosion of the earth kills mewtwo or whatever, the will only die after the lions are dead.

I heard something really interesting from an italian about the lasagna thing The term for lasagna in Italian, lasagne, is plural. They aren’t referring to the dish as a singular object, it’s just the stacked noodles as a collective. If i understand correctly, this is generally true for (most) pasta dishes in Italian. like if you have a baked mac and cheese (just to address the “dry top” argument) and put two scoops on top of each other, it isn’t 2 mac and cheeses. It’s still 1 mac and cheese because macaroni is referring to the noodles as a collective. So, you can have multiple separate lasagne, but when they’re stacked, the collection just gets larger. it’s still 1 lasagne.

The problem with ludwig’s answer to the lions question is that he changes the question around to suit him. If someone mentions birds who can fly he goes “yah in real life sure but tackle in the games can hit flying types.” But if someone mentions the earthquake move not having a target limit he goes “yah but there’s earthquakes in real life and that didn’t kill all the lions.” You need to pick either the “what’s the lore say” option for Pokémon and try to apply that to the real world, or “what would the mechanics be?” and try to imagine how 1bill lions would be represented in the Pokémon game. If you need to flip flop between them to defend your point it’s because your point isn’t valid.
