One of the best things about this episode to me is the way it presented the Nature Vs Nurture argument. Zeke is a product of his environment and his current ideals were shaped by what he experienced in the past. He believed that Eren was also a product of his environment; a pathetic little brother who was raised by a man who once again pushed his ideals down on his son but that wasn't the case. Grisha didn't treat Eren the same way he did with Zeke. He actually learned from his mistakes. His dad didn't make Eren the person that he is now. It's in his nature. This was evident from the moment he killed those 3 kidnappers back in Season 1 without a hint of hesitation. The world didn't make Eren the way he is now.
