Thanks very much for this series of films. As a Baggies fan of a certain age I remember the great Leeds side really well. Love the way you integrate the film footage, news footage, papers, programmes &c. As I said I'm not a Leeds fan, but found this well worth the watch. No doubt this great club will soon be competing at the top level once more. So many great players and such a huge fan base. I always thought they'd be bought up by some billionaire - Man City style! I thought that'd happen years ago tbh. but they seem to be getting there under their own steam as it is. Good luck to 'em! Couldn't believe that 1975 European Cup swindle. It's a great club and it'll be back

My first season ticket year as a kid. Always remember the chant at most homes game throughout the season... "Hark now hear United sing, the Man U ran away.... and there will be a massacre upon the 3rd of May". There ended up being a lot more riding on it than anyone thought. Also remember Bolton at home in front of an empty Kop and the score being 1-1 after two mins. Curtis was the best buy. His goal at Southampton was absolutely brilliant.

3rd of May was one of the maddest and best days at Elland Road trouble before during and after game for hours.

Outwith the football there was intrique, sniping & headlines. Now they are all image conscious, yes we were too but not managed like now. Not one footballer has a persona really, dull perfection like the pitches now. Was watching Big Match Revisited today West Ham v Wolves. Great game 5-2 & Wolves were great attacking & 5-4 would be more appropriate. Oh, the pitch, green & mud too & very playful but gives a 3rd dimension in the game unlike the bowling green perfection now & the ball was fine for 40yrs. Now, it wizzes around & kerrangs like a banshee on fire. Play now is very fast & tackling is obsolete. RIP Football.

@@scherben8870 I know, but when you are watching it through your TV via a sky Q box it is a pain in the arse pausing it and the bottom of the screen is obscured by written text which you then have to remove. Doing this time after time spoils the enjoyment of what is a fantastic production. I have a disability which makes my reading much slower. Is my polite request too much to ask?
