with the fact that gear 5 is Luffy awakened form and it has such a wide array of potential usage i don't really see there being another gear after it.

but then again, Luffy still needs his god-nika form. So I suppose he takes the form of them in this animation, making them huge. Also, ever noticed how Luffy doesn't go back to his normal form after defeating Shanks? I think it is intended to make it look like Luffy now being permanently in his god-form

@@annikapannika4681 I’m like 95% sure that Oda said originally Gear 5 Luffy was just going to be a giant all the time. He could probably still do all the other stuff, but he would just be a giant at all times. Idk…but it seems like you’re talking as if this is what really happened in the actual anime😂😂 it really threw me off

I mean it is a mythical zoan lol, I wouldn't be suprised if it also had lighting properties, for example, kaidos fish fruit having properties of a dragon, and on top of that also being able to make lighting and clouds while having insane stamina and durability

If you think about it, luffy could have two devil fruits. He's made of rubber so when the devil fruit spirits start fighting he'll just stretch ultimately ending in luffy being overpowered as hell
