@@captfredricks9650 I think its missing the cloud that wraps around the awaken zoan is why i discount the form as an awaken form cause of a two characters later on. The impel down guys were lacking the cloud but i think its because they do not have a full grasp of their awaken forms

I find it really sad how dumb some people when saying Kaido should have stopped his swing. Did you not see the power behind that attack? Dude lifted himself off the ground when he smashed into Luffy with so much force. CP0 appeared right at the end and that slow mo was like a split second. You can't just stop an attack of that force at the last second

Yep, the line was planted to try to get people to “huh. Now that I think about it a lot of Luffy’s attacks don’t make sense”. The attacks work because he believes they’ll work, so the DF takes over and makes it so.

Kaido is the only one who noticed that Luffy's movements in G4 snakeman are impossible even for a rubber man. Kaido is so absurdly smart he understood that something was off in Luffy's powers. He even realized that Luffy is a Zoan. Kaido was really a monster.

I was about to remark on the lack of a smoke cloud around Kaido, but they do actually have him with cloud-like eyebrows which is the same as the next awakening we’ll see. Awakenings just aren’t on anime watchers’ radars right now, the Gorosei will have a chat about the idea right before Luffy wakes up.
