I'd like to mention here that in an SBS Oda said that the official reason Luffy doesn't react to Hancock but reacts to Nami's happiness punch is because Ussop is a bad influence on him. Oda says: _"I believe that Luffy reacted to Nami's naked body twice, in volumes 18 and 23, and both times it happened, Usopp was with him! He's the suspicious one! In other words, when Luffy is alone, his reaction is what it was with Hancock. He's interested, but he's not entranced by her. But when he's with Usopp, who's the same age, it's like a kid on a school trip: his bad side comes out!"_

I love Jack's intuition when it comes to details like the gorgon eyes story being a fake to cover up the real thing, before it's even mentioned to be like that. Some reactors I've seen watch OP with their brains fully removed, and totally went with the false story at first.

As far as I remember, Jack's guesses has always been on point, or at least related to future episodes (ones he haven't watched yet). One of the reasons why I like his reaction and commentary.

Luffy is widely considered Asexual (some joke saying the A stands for Adventure) The only time we see him show attraction was in Alabasta when Nami was Bathing But Oda said in the SBS (q&A bonus section in the manga volumes) the only reason he acted like that was because Usopp is also 17 and was kind of mimicking him as a teenage boy He didn't feel any real attraction

It's a whole big thing why Luffy didn't react to Boa and it makes a lot of sense psychologically but to keep it short: Luffy is a gigachad. He recognised Boa's beauty but he isn't enchanted by it. She needs the other person to be feeling lust towards her; thinking of Split Head may have actually helped lol

The reason why he didn't turn to stone is because Luffy is asexual. In order to turn to stone someone has to be lustful or feel really strong emotions towards hancock, the Vice admiral avoided this by changing his focus to the pain of his hand and not on hancock Also the other person in the photo in the bottom left is St Charlos the celestial dragon who was punched by luffy
